Doesn't anyone coach this guy? Remember his actions with the Queen?

The pool reporters also noted Bush's relaxed posture, crossing his legs "Texan style" while facing the pope across his desk in the private study of the apostolic palace.

Respecting others has never been his strong suit, so I don't expect him to change at this late date.

Just another example of who Bush REALLY is.

Unless he has a script, he is dysfunctional and ignorant and a buffoon.

How ANYONE can still manage to support this man is beyond belief or common sense ...

Quite frankly, the Pope, good Lord bless his soul, is not my "holiness" and I am not kissing anybody's ring today.

The word Sir is a consideration of highest accord.

Not particularly pleased to be defending Bush, but The Pope can get by with a Sir from me as well.

I'm not a Bush supporter but in this case, get off the President's ass. What's the big deal?

Wow! Bush can't even draw a breath without being criticised for it.

Most of the people who voted for this story would ****** on the Pope if they had the chance, but Bush calls him "sir" instead of "his holiness" and everyone jumps on board to condemn him.

When will the liberal filth (excuse the redundancy) get a life?

This guy should never have been let out of Texas! He is an obvious international embarrasment!

I might still become a Catholic and complete my dream of becoming the first Pope from the US.

Then I will give those meeting me the choice of greeting me as, "Your Holiness", "My Pimp", "Pimpicus Maximus", or "SlapAProtestant".
