  As someone who is against Putin and his resurrection of the Soviet, and against his form of nationalism, and state-backed intolerance, and his willingness to cause harm to the nations which the Soviet Union enslaved, yet never gave reparations, it's very odd for me to say:

  Putin is absolutely correct.

  A major question here is what is do be done to defend America and work along with the Russians. There is much unknown about the Russian militarys Nuke capability. Although a shield built together leaves open the question, what does the future of Russia look like. Working together with Putin I dont believe to be a problem but the fact is he is leaving office. No major decisions can be made until the Russian elections.

  How can anyone dispute Putin's analysis?

  "Unilateral and illegitimate military actions", the "uncontained hyper-use of force", the "disdain for the basic principles of international law", and most importantly; "No one feels safe!" These are the irrefutable facts. Putin has simply summarized the Bush Doctrine better than anyone else. The Bush administration has increased its frontline American bases to five thousand men on Russia's perimeter. Is this conduct of a "trustworthy ally"? Also, NATO has deployed forces on Russia's borders even while Putin has continued to fulfill his treaty obligations and move troops and military equipment hundreds of miles away. "
