This morning on CBS's Face the Nation, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) strongly advocated preparing for a strike against Iran. "I think we have to be prepared to take aggressive military action against the Iranians to stop them from killing Americans in Iraq," Lieberman said.

Host Bob Schieffer followed-up: "Let's just stop right there. Because I think you probably made some news here, Senator Lieberman. You're saying that if the Iranians don't let up, that the United States should take military action?" "I am," Lieberman responded.

Lieberman also said "we have good evidence" that Iran is training al qaeda. AL Qaeda!!! Al Qaeda is SUNNI! Sunni's hate Shia's. Iran is Shiite. Sunni's are killing Shiites in Iraq, aided by al qaeda. Sunni's murdered Iranians by the thousands in the past. And I'm supposed to believe that Iran is all lovey dovey with Sunni's, and training them? I'm supposed to believe that all those al qaeda freaks in Iraq aren't from Saudi Arabia? Lieberman can kiss my *ss. He's george bush, in sheep's clothing. "We have good evidence." Well so do I. I have good evidence that lieberman is nuts.

I'm surprised Leberman is usually more loyal to Israel than this,
If we hit Iran, Iran will Nuke Israel and lieberman will no longer be a dual citizen with Israeli loyalty and US citizenship.

I say that nuclear bomb, and energy should be discarded by all nations. If a country then pursues nuclear technology they should be invaded. That would solve the iran problem or any other country that is trying to get "nuclear power plants". Too bad it would never happen huh.

How many American lives is Israel worth?
This seems to be the question which we will settle in the next decade.
I'm betting america will support Israel until at least three major cities in the US are nuked with the loss of at least 3 million Americans,
Perhaps Americans will then realize Israel is not the 51st state

Israel also has Nuclear facilities and reactors.

Iran put on a nice demo war last summer in Lebanon after seeing what 2000 Hezbolla did to Israel you might wonder why anyone wants to take on 3 million hezbollah with way more and way better weapons than Hezbollah used.

Haven't we done the Israelis already enough favors by removing Saddam and solving the question of Iraki WMD? Now, we have to solve their problems with the rest of the Muslim world, too ?
It is time for the world to get togethe, give them enough territory and require ALL jews to return - kinda create a diaspora in reverse! Otherwise, they keep on infiltrating every society and thus keep the whole world arguing and fighting ....

there is a following post pertaining to the fact that 9 Republican candidates implied that they would use nuclear tactical weapons against Iran. -- How many of them are Jewish?
I have no prob with some postings that are clearly anti-Israel - but when they clump Israel with hatred of Jews such as kedirian & others have, I have no qualms in doing to them what we did to Sadaam.

Iran is the second most likely nation after Saddams Irak to have the capability to attack Israel, that is the main reason why Irak was attacked. Now the Zionists have Iran in their sights. Fix the main problem and get Israel to withdraw from the occupied terriories.

Iran is much more about re-establishing the Persian Empire. They could give a hoot about the Palestinians. Their goal is to establish themselves as the sole power in the Gulf. Nukes are a proven tool to power and influence. They look at the Chinese and see an instant seat at the table. The Saudis will have nukes two years after Iran - they will simply buy them somehow, and no UN, US or anyone will stop them. Egypt will follow, as they are fearful of a Persian resurgence. The "Stans" of former Soviet domination are right in the crosshairs and explains their recent coop with the US. The unknown is Russia. Why their coop with an arch enemy who's aim is to dominate their southern boarder? Russia seems intent to risk anything to marginalize US influence. Seems a real gamble for them. Persians are smart and they know their history. They want to get back into the game. They have played the Europeans like a fiddle and thats all about oil. Their plan is pretty much on track.

This guy Liberman is 100% loyal to Isreal and 0% loyal to US. Out country is being hijacked by guys like this. They wantet Iraq war, they got it. Now they want another war. Why American soldiers have to die for Isreal. Whole senate and congress is controlled by Isreal.

Either the US or Israel will make the first move against Iran, hitting their nuclear site in Bushehr (about 150 miles from Kuwait). The US has THREE carrier battle groups in the region. Without divulging secrets, each carrier battle group has a compliment of up to two Los Angelas class submarines, especially in CENTCOM. The last major war game that Iran did consisted of over 700 missiles. The first volley they send toward Kuwait and toward other targets well within range. The missile defense systems will take out some of these, but not all. Moments later, using naval assets throughout the region, Iran will receive the return volley followed by overwhelming air strikes by carrier aircraft. Heavy bombers will be directed toward all suspected nuclear targets, and other targets of interest. The Middle East is ten hours ahead of the US West Coast. Nearly all of the damage will be done before the first cup of coffee is poured.

Lieberman is just another jackass on the dole from the military industry. And there has been some truly Nazi comments here that surprised the hell out of me. Yes the PNAC conspirators are very pro Israel but most people of Jewish decent in the U.S. are not supporters of these people at all.
How many republican Jews are there? Not very many, outside the Bush circlejerks.

Leberman is more like an Israeli than American, everybody is worried about Israel, Israel itself a regional supper power, why should American lives should be sacrificed for a country that it can protect itself, are they real cowards? They behave like a spoiled rich kid, they lie and cause problem every step of the way; international community must get them where they belong and send them back to places where they came from, because they are the main cause of enmity between Islam and the west. Middle east minus Israel we be a paradise on earth.
