The Unlawful Internet Gaming Act was passed under rather dubious circumstances. It passed the U.S. Senate on the last day of Congress, late at night, with no floor debate, after being attached to an unrelated port security bill.

    It is something that they have no interest in so they don't care if they shut it down.

      it would have created many job oppotunies, there are other ways to protect valnarable people

        I don't understand the excitement of gambling, but for those people that do they should be allowed to partake. This all to o common procedure of attaching a bill to a totally unrelated bill is the craziest thing I have ever heard of. This should be outlawed at once. Any bill should have to stand on it's own merits or it should be killed.
