Hamas gunmen attack Fatah HQ in Gaza City »
Posted by: Fabienne 2 years agoFrom the article: "Hamas gunmen stormed a Fatah security headquarters in Gaza City on Tuesday, moving Palestinians closer to civil war, minutes after the Islamist group's deadline for Fatah to quit key facilities expired. After the deadline passed, witnesses said gunmen from Hamas's armed wing attacked against a large security compound of Fatah's national security forces in Gaza City."

June 12, 2007, 8:47 a.m.Allahu Akbar. They all need 72 virgins. They all live in their own misery. They hate to see kids and families going about their daily lives. They only capable of preaching hate and destruction. They brainwash their kids that they must killed themselves and others in order to have a better life. Bunch of low life's scumbags

June 12, 2007, 9:21 a.m.It is just wonderful that the religion of peace has taken over gaza so that the true believers can finally vanquish the false Palestinians who want to make peace and recognize Israel. 60 years of doing the same thing day after day and expecting different results really sums up the mentality of the Palestinian leaders. It is obviously more important for Hamas to rule than it is for the people to have security and peace. I would pray for them but my god doesn't recognize them.

June 12, 2007, 9:31 a.m.How would you feel if your lifeblood had been cut off? If you lived on less than a dollar a day because the whole world decided to sanction your country. There is no money to pay government officials, teachers, doctors, where would that leave you? How would you feed yourself and your family. Before you speak think of what is going on there.

June 12, 2007, 11:07 a.m.The sheer stupidity of the Palestinians is that they could have had another Palestinian state a long time ago if it weren't for their "elected officials" who had a much different agenda than the welfare of the people. Israel offered back in 1948 to recognize the UN partition. When the arabs refused and attacked, that plan was lost. Arafat was offered 95% of his demands and turned it down because it wasn't 100%. Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza and gave the Palestinian Authority control over the area, and Israel received suicide bombers and rockets in return. The Arab's 3 no's -no peace, no recognition of Israel and no Israeli state on Palestinian territory has been the cause of the problem since 1948. The Palestinians would like to portray themselves as victims to the world. There are no victims, only volunteers. They volunteer to give their dreams away to Hamas and the rest of the Jihadist groups.

June 12, 2007, noonOlmert told his cabinet Israel should "be prepared for a long confrontation" and that he would not necessarily agree to halt fire if Hamas agreed to a truce deal under negotiation with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah group
Israel is intervening in the mounting factional strife in Gaza between Fatah and Hamas, with the explicit aim of eliminating Hamas as a military and political force.
ISRAEL has allowed Fatah to bring about 500 troops into the Gaza Strip under a US-co-ordinated scheme to counter Hamas, the Islamic movement that won Palestinian parliamentary elections last year.
The forces belong to the Palestinian Authority President, Mahmoud Abbas, the moderate Fatah leader whom the Bush Administration and Israel have sought to strengthen militarily and politically.
THE US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, has said the formation of a Palestinian unity government that includes the militant group Hamas complicates her peace mission to the Middle East.

June 12, 2007, 4:19 p.m.What do you expect Israel to do?
Move. This is a peace issue. There will never be peace with Israel sitting dead in the middle of a hornets nest. Do you think access to Jerusalem is not one of the critical issues? And that is not about religion? Or that the location of Israel itself is not about religion? This goes back to the British and the Balfour Declaration in the early 20th Century. The Arabs have been furious ever since. It would seem obvious the trouble that would ensue. Iraq is another British mistake that we are trying to push forward. But if you don't learn from history...

June 12, 2007, 5:51 p.m.I am sorry to hear of all the deaths on both sides. But as long and they fight and kill each other off then the Third Temple cannot be built in Jerusalem. As long as its not build the world will not end.

June 12, 2007, 7:19 p.m.Now, let's see, how many Muslims were killed this week by wicked Europeans and how many Muslims were killed by righteous Muslims? Can there be any doubt what will happen in Iraq 10 minutes after the last US soldier is gone?

June 12, 2007, 7:28 p.m.I understand that President Abbas has suggested that the United Nations station peace keepers in Gaza. The new Secretary General is concerned that the entire Middle East may go up in flames at any time. And in almost every case, it's Moslem against Moslem. Israel isn't the problem and never has been. I think the evidence is apparent now. The Moslems have enough hate for everyone to go around, with some left over.

June 12, 2007, 7:41 p.m.Israel is not the problem? A country created by the United Nations, whose only claim to the land was religious based, created over the top of people who were the predominate population for over 1,400 years is not the problem?

June 12, 2007, 10:43 p.m.Blame Israel all you want but the fact remains the Arabs will keep killing each other no matter who occupies whatever piece of real estate.
The poor Muslims have Allah - the rich ones have $$ (Arafat wasn't exactly poverty stricken when he died).
Money always wins out it pays for bigger guns

You both steered all around this point. There seems to be no end to the bias in favor of Israel shown by many U.S. citizens. That is what makes this issue literally unsolvable.

June 13, 2007, 9:43 a.m.Daylight should get over the fact that Israel does exist and as long as the rest of the world has anything to say about it Israel will continue to exist. Yoou are obviously a mouthpiece for radical islam. Funny, you must actuallly live in a western country because in your highly vaunted muslim world you would not have the right, or at least the venue to voice your opinion. You defend each and every barbaric act by reference to Israel and the US and the policies of each. The killing of innocent women and children is OK by you as long as it is in the name of Allah. Allah is a mudering scum and you are his bitch.

June 13, 2007, 11:38 a.m.In Gaza, it is the first place and the first time in history where the Palestinians have actually had the opportunity to govern themselves (First time, since their never existed a Palestinian entity or people for that matter until the 20th century. First place, since Israel totally left the place, civilians and military). Now tell me, from seeing what they have done with the place, Do you really want to give them a whole state?

June 13, 2007, 11:41 a.m.The systematized repression and torture that the Palestinian people was subjected to under the Israeli occupation, the poor performance of the political functions as embodied in the absence of law and justice and maladministration all led the youth to seek and cling to a new identity which is different from that of their helpless parents and which holds that naked force is the only means to avenge themselves over the suppression they have long been subjected to.
The formation of those political, partisan and religious identities and the view that ultimate force is the model of heroism are the major cause of the status quo of Palestinian armed conflict which finds its fuel in many causes such as division, hatred, and vindictiveness of a generation that rebels against the declining family system and the chaotic Palestinians political functions

June 13, 2007, 12:09 p.m.How come not one of you Arab-bashers has found it necessary so far to make some kind of justification of Israel's pariah status as a nuclear-armed state??
I guess it doesn't quite mesh with your case that Israel's such a poor little victimised country under constant threat from the "murderous Arabs" so better to keep it hush-hush and nudge-nudge, wink-wink?
I seem to remember a certain rather large counntry losing its marbles completely when a little country near its coast was looking likely to acquire nuclear weapons.. But Israel is Israel right and that makes it a special case. Oh and of course those nuclear weapons could never murder a single Arab because the Israelis are innocent regardless..

June 13, 2007, 12:59 p.m."Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, an arch-foe of Hamas, said for the first time that "serious consideration" must be given to posting international peacekeepers in Gaza"
The reporter is a moron - Olmert is an "arch-foe" of Hamas? Hamas is a terrorist organization. It's the "arch-foe" of all decent human beings.
As to Olmert's suggestion that "international peacekeepers" should be posted in Gaza, when will this idiot be removed from office? International peacekeepers would only guarantee that Arabs would keep shelling Israelis while preventing any Israeli retaliation.

June 17, 2007, 1:23 a.m.WCFIELDS IS RIGHT ON. TODAY'S ARAB IS GENERALLY EITHER A SPOILED CHILD WITH TOO MUCH MONEY OR A DANGEROUS RELIGIOUS ZEALOT WITH TOO MUCH AMMUNITION (AS PROOF, OBSERVE THAT THEY ARE ALWAYS FIRING THEIR AK-47s INTO THE AIR WITHOUT A THOUGHT AS TO THE POTENTIAL CONSEQUENCES OF THAT IGNORANT ACT) I'LL ADMIT THAT THE ARAB CIVILIZATION WAS GREAT ONCE (IN THE 1300's) BUT TODAY'S AVERAGE YOUNG ARAB MALE IS LIVING TESTAMENT TO THE DANGERS OF MATING WITH CAMELS - TOO MUCH TESTOSTERONE AND TOO FEW BRAINS. SORRY, BUT THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS FOLKS!

June 17, 2007, 1:55 a.m.AND WHILE I'M ON MY RANT - HERE'S SOMETHING ELSE TO THINK ABOUT:
I ASK YOU, WHO PUT THE "ICE" IN ICECREAM? - MAN DID!
WHO PUT THE "STRAW" IN STRAWBERRY? - GOD DID!
WHO PUT THE "FRIG" IN PALESTINIANS? - WAIT! I HEAR YOU CRY!
"THERE AIN'T NO "FRIG" IN PALESTINIANS!"
RIGHT,YOU GOT IT - THERE AIN'T NO FRIG IN PALESTINIANS!
THERE NEVER WERE. THESE PEOPLE ARE A POLYGOT COLLECTION OF ARAB REFUGEES WHO HAVE BEEN EXPLOITED AND USED AS POLITICAL PAWNS BY THEIR OWN SO-CALLED LEADERS SINCE BEFORE THE PARTITION IN 1948 AS ANYONE WHO CAN READ HISTORY KNOWS FULL WELL.
