Global Warming: Science has it right »

A recent report says that Mt. Kilimanjaro shouldn't be considered the poster child for global warming because its shrinking ice is more about less snowfall & ice that's melting because of solar radiation. This is a big "ah-ha" moment for global warming critics - unless they actually read the report.

But hey, why limit oneself to studying just one glacier on just one mountain?

As the authors of the Kilimanjaro study say, "There is ample and conclusive evidence that Earth's average temperature has increased in the past 100 years, and the decline of mid- and high-latitude glaciers is a major piece of evidence."

Yeah, but if you look at the temperature records and cross check with historic levels of CO2 in the atmosphere, the only conclusion you can draw is that CO2 did not cause the warming.

And like "all the king's horses and all the king's men", all the computer models running on all the supercomputers can't get around this inconvenient bit of data.
