    My advice to the GOP in regard to avoiding 'Macaca Moments' is simply to not think that way.

        "Always assume you're being recorded, and always record your opponent."

        That suggests that it is appropriate to be a racist as long as you hide it. It also suggests that it is a great struggle for them to hold in their racism in public.

            One more time, I am saddened by the state of politics in this country. Instead of asking their constituants to be open and inclusive, the GOP would rather tell them how to hide their inherent racism and undermine the people who have elected them in the first place.

            Wow.
