June 15, 2007, 12:06 a.m.As we say in Ohio, there's always next year. :/ Actually, I really do believe that in this case... the Cavs will be back in the finals again. Maybe not next year, but if they pick up a good point guard and if Gibson keeps maturing, they will be the team to beat in the East.

June 15, 2007, 12:19 a.m.Congrats to the Spurs on their 4th title. People may think they are a boring team, but they play basketball the way it should be played.

June 15, 2007, 9:08 a.m.Congrats!!!! Horry (sp) also had 1 or 2 rings from the Houston days,,,, he may nee to grow more fingers. The Cavs will be back and did well for what appears to be a young team. The Spurs though old may have one more shot,,, this puts them on the same level of the few teams that have won 4 titles

June 15, 2007, 9:23 a.m.I was hoping for a more competitive series, although who would eventually win was never in doubt. The network isn't too upset about the sweep, though - the ratings for this Finals were terrible
Tony Parker may have won the series MVP, but Tim Duncan is the Spur's MVP

June 15, 2007, 10:18 a.m.Strange that one of the best "teams" in NBA history receives some of lowest ratings in years. Without the bling and the trash talk the public just seems uninterested. Really strange when you have someone like Tony Parker who is a celebrity in his own right for his romance with Longoria.
This team, with the exception of the flops and a few cheap fouls, is everything Stern has tried to make the NBA. International in flavor, great fundamentals and team concepts. Yet he now sees the ratings results. What must he be thinking? Is it just because they are in a mid-market? Does the public not appreciate execution any longer? These guys could win several more titles easily before they are broken up.

June 15, 2007, 2:48 p.m.Sports used to be such a big thing to me in my youth until the teams wanted my tax money to build their stadiums then want 100 for the cough 'honor' to watch them play a child's game.

June 15, 2007, 5:25 p.m.Oh lets not get all crazy here.. If the Spurs didnt win they would be a National Disgrace!!! No offense to the Cavs fans... Cavs had a great season, the best ever thus far, and should be damn proud of their team.... With a healthy hughs, and with lebron... Future looks mighty bright!!! But I must admit Im from Florida and Im a very avid Heat fan.. Look out for the Heat.. A healthy wade, Shaq, and some new additions.... Hummm.... Anyways glad it was the Spurs that won and not Dallas!!!! nough said
