June 14, 2007, 11:22 p.m.The part about the phone ringing in the middle of the night takes me back to when my first son started driving, the phone would ring and you would run to it not really knowing why, at times you would hope for it to quit ringing. The parents and I will also include wives and husbands of the people in Iraq go though these emotions multiplied at least a thousand times for their loved ones are not just out on the town they are in war, and the scars that war leaves run far deeper than we can imagine. My heart goes out to all those affected by war.

June 15, 2007, 9:44 p.m.I've never expected this bunch to admit they're wrong. I'm waiting for those who voted for them to step up to the plate, so the message gets sent to Congress, specifically the conservatives, that Americans want this stopped. I'll participate in a march for the fifth time at the end of this month. Maybe this time we'll be joined by some of those people.
