Posted by: populist 2 years, 4 months agoThe reason the catastrophe will be so immense is because our nuclear missiles will be vaporizing nuclear sites. When these sites are vaporized, all the enriched uranium and plutonium stockpiled there will be shot into the atmosphere as "weaponized" particles, along with the radioactive particles from the warheads themselves.

June 14, 2007, 3:42 p.m.It amazes me that such a thing is still considered a tool of foreign policy.
The killing of millions of innocents is not justifiable in any situation - by any side of these kinds of issues.
War, in all its forms, it not glorious in any way.

June 14, 2007, 4:49 p.m.LOL. Why do you think USA needs a nuke against Iran? If we were going to nuke Iran, we would not go after their nuclear facility.

June 14, 2007, 5:06 p.m.The real madness is the apparent paralysis of the civilized world in the face of a genocidal, terror-supporting theocracy openly seeking the ultimate weapon.

June 14, 2007, 5:51 p.m.Well, if you just looked at the available radioactivity of everything in Iran's facilities in terms of number of Curies, you'll see that the maximum release would be a small fraction of Chernobyl.
But since he's a psychologist, not a physicist, I guess he wouldn't know that.

June 14, 2007, 9:01 p.m.Remember only a short while ago it was Korea, remember if they get the bomb we're all dead, well we are still all here. Maybe we shouldn't pay to much attention to what politicians bent on world dominance have to say.

June 14, 2007, 9:13 p.m.How about listening to what the leader of Iran has been saying? Did the leader of N Korea ever boast about whiping Tokyo off of the map, or, sacrificing most of N. Korea in an effort TO whipe Tokyo off the map?

June 14, 2007, 9:16 p.m.Oh, by the way, does Kim Jong Ill believe that if he DID whipe Tokyo off the map, that some kid down a well would come back as the 12th Iman with Jesus, and Jesus would then kill Jews and those Christians who were worshipping him, Jesus, and not Allah?

June 14, 2007, 10:19 p.m.Do any of you war mongering turds believe in karma? Do you believe that you reap what you sow? If we go around nuking people, how long would it be before we were nuked? Do any of you lost souls think of that? I wish you would. There are some of us Americans who are actually good people. They don't want to suffer for your idiocy.

June 14, 2007, 11:11 p.m.Join me in urging voices of reason of the need to mount a media campaign to show the Iranian people the foolishness of continuing their warlike nuclear bomb manufacturing.

June 15, 2007, 12:22 a.m.Threads like these remind me of an old quote by the Roman Publius Flavius: "Si vis pacem, para bellum."
Or, "If you would have peace, prepare for war."

June 17, 2007, 1:47 p.m.WAS a Qu'ran flushed down a toilet? If so, it must have been a LOT smaller than the Qu'ran I own. I DID see the pyrimid of naked bodies and the panties over someone's head at Abu Grab-ass. Horrors... HORRORS!!! :)
