June 15, 2007, 6:59 p.m.A lethal form of skin cancer (melanoma) IS NOT caused by the sun exposure, which was thoroughly confirmed by numerous research. Actually, melanoma often develops on those parts of the body, which are not usually exposed to sun rays, which confirms the hypothesis that a LACK OF SUN EXPOSURE (alongside with carcinogens in food and air) contributes to this deadly form of skin cancer. Also, for a proper amount of Vitamin D to be produced, humans at average need about half-an-hour of a full-body exposure to direct sun rays WITHOUT SUNSCREEN.
