        bibs with lead in them.

The thing about your organic food is that you have to shop at a store that you trust and one that, preferably, just does organic, like a local co-op.

The place where we shop asks questions about everything that they carry. They don't just take the vendors word for it either, they will actually research all of the products. In other words, you'll never catch them carrying "organic" broccoli from China..

ENOUGH already with "made in China" cheap & deadly products! Corporate greed like Wal-Mart and others are exploiting 'Chinese slave labor' to maximize profits. When are we going to STOP this import insanity at the expense of American lives & their pets? BOYCOTT goods from China!

Every statement you have made except wanting to make money is incorrect. Profit is always a motive. If you understood the damage the chemicals sprayed on plants do to all you would be stunned. Instead you will probably die from cancer or diabetes.

well, I agree that organic is more expensive. but, the process is more labor intensive.

regarding this point: "Research has proven time and time again that conventional grown food is just as nutritious as organic grown food."

                        vieamie-

i disagree with you 100%. I focus on organic whenever possible. and I know I am more fit and youthful with natural blonde haircolor, 19% bmi, etc. than most people I know, who are my age. I attribute it to organic food consumption. which is by far more healthy than mass production. the proof is in the pudding!

This story is corporate garbage. We can't grow it here. Bologna.Giant corporations haved lobbied and recieved from the criminal repug congress loosened definitions of what makes food organic. The organic food industry lobbied for years to get a strict definition for organic labeling so that growing organic would be worthwhile. The repugs bowed to giant corporate pressure and screwed up the standards for organic so they could bypass the strict rules. Don't believe we can't grow broccoli here. This country had the best farm system in the world.

nothing from China is any good, we should ban all imports from China. Look how polluted and rotten that country has become, the only thing the gov't has done with that new wealth is create alot of new weapons to take more territory from its neighbors, burn Japan and humiliate the US.

There are 100 much poorer, more deserving countries that would do more productive things with outsourcing than bad, bad china.
