This has to be one of the best games invented next to Scrabble. I love playing Scrabble.

Scrabble is a great game. Unfortunately my sister & I never managed to finish a game of Monopoly. It always ended when one of us got mad & flipped the board over. We both wanted to use the little doggie marker too, so we were arguing even before the game started.

I can't say I have ever played or heard of the "auctioning unsold property off" rule but I think it would be a pretty interesting way to play.

monopoly is one of the greatest boardgames EVER! Probably second only to chess!
