Sept. 7, 2007, 12:40 a.m.$100 discount is good news.
How expensive is the plan of ATT for the I-Phones?
By the way, links to LA Times are not user friendly since you have to sign up.
I went for the article in an other blog and although sometime ago I signed up for LA Times, I reject the idea of so many user names and passwords to remember.
Lately I boycott more registrations for small potatoes.

Sept. 7, 2007, 1:58 a.m.Okay, when did Steve Jobs drop the i and turn into a plain old pod person executive?
I really did enjoy calling up my friends who had iPhones, on their iPhones no less, to give them my best Nelson Muntz imitation.

Sept. 8, 2007, 3:20 p.m.I feel sorry for all those folks who stood in line for hours and paid $500-600 for thier iPhones and now only get a $100 store credit? How "corporate" is that? Next time wait a while and then get the product. Don't pay those high start-up costs when you can wait 6 weeks and get it cheaper!
I think a lot of folks feel very angry right now about this.
