Author Madeleine L'Engle dies at 88 »

Author Madeleine L'Engle, whose novel "A Wrinkle in Time" has been enjoyed by generations of schoolchildren and adults since the 1960s, has died, her publicist said Friday. She was 88. L'Engle died Thursday at a nursing home in Litchfield of natural causes.

    First Pavoratti and now L'Engle? It's been a rough week for culture.

      This is very sad. It was Wrinkle in Time that turned be into the avid bookworm I am today. I do hope the "nursing home" she was in was fit for the magnificent lady she was.
