Sept. 18, 2007, 11:07 p.m.They were good questions. Too bad we didn't hear the answer. I stuck up for Kerry when the swift boat liars trashed him. But he behaved abominably over this. He should have been down there telling the police to knock it off. He lost 100% of any respect I had for him by doing nothing.

Never the less Kerry is a politician.

Sept. 19, 2007, 12:32 a.m.Kerry asked several times that the young man be left alone and attempted to answer his many questions.
I've watched the video multiple times now. I believe the campus police dealt with a disruptive protester in a reasonable fashion.
There was an established time limit for each questioner. This guy just kept ranting on and on after his time was up. He was disruptive, shouting, waving his arms about. The campus police asked him to step away from the mic. He refused. They turned the mic off, and he flew into a real rage. At that point, some 6 officers moved in and informed him he would have to leave the room. He refused and commenced to struggle with the officers. He was head and shoulders taller than any of them.
At some point, they got a handcuff on one of his arms, but he broke free with it and began to flail it around as a weapon. If they allowed that to go on, someone was going to get seriously hurt. He planned a disruption and an arrest. He got it.

Not that any of them are going over time much, but one of them needs to show some real leadership and go way over time to make a point.
And then they get tased for it.
Basically, I'm just saying I want to see a candidate get Tased For America.

Sept. 19, 2007, 4:14 a.m.Good questions - maybe, important questions - propably not, excesive force - maybe, following the rules (of engagement) Myers - no, security as far as I can tell yes.
Time unfortunatelly is the controling protocoll for fairness to all in these situations, and that applies to all, public, candidates, press and in government 'discussions' from the local town council to the congress ----- yes they usually don't get tassered - they also usually don't have a cow when the microphone goes silent.

Sept. 19, 2007, 6:54 a.m.The kid was being a jerk. I think for the amount of officers they had to hold him down and taser him was a bit extreme. The same officers could of just dragged him out of the room and then dealt with the situation. The kid just wanted an audience.

What's next? Is it going to get to the point that we are expected to bow on our knees in front of them?
While i agree that kid was being rather difficult, did it really warrant him being tased?
After Cheney had the man arrested who said something to him, it makes people leery of even making eye contact with politicians in America today.

Sept. 19, 2007, 12:02 p.m.I saw a few different angles of this "incident" (after my previous post) and honestly don't feel that this guy is some innocent college student.
He was put there as someone to disrupt things and not to simply ask a question.
I'm not saying he deserves what he got, but if you watch the scenes from outside the auditorium, this kid was acting like an idiot.

Sept. 19, 2007, 1 p.m.I saw the video. Yeah the guy was rude and slightly disruptive but Kerry was answering his questions the best he could.
I heard from a person there that there was a line and he cut in front of it and passed his camera to someone in line to record his 'conversation' with the Senator.
His movements were odd but the police could have just waited it out.
They could have just dragged him outside and told him not to come back until the event was over.
Tasering him was over the line. Of course, he could have avoided that had he not flailed about like that. He could have just walked outside and discussed the matter with officers right there or complained later.
From all that screaming maybe they did taser him in the ballz. Hell if I got hit there I would have screamed.
