The reporter informs us that "U.S. District Judge Gerard E. Lynch called it an "imminently reasonable" verdict." I really doubt that. I would guess that the judge actually said that it was an "eminently reasonable" verdict, and the dumbass reporter assigned to cover it doesn't know the difference between "imminent" and "eminent."

No wonder Americans are so poorly informed. We get our news from people who don't understand any of it.

I don't believe it for a minute. When he played for Detroit he was the moral backbone of the team.

Hang in there, Isiah. Jesse and Al are rounding up the troops and will soon be charging in to save the day. How dare anyone actually find a black person guilty in this country. It's an outrage. The only reason Isiah was found guilty was he was black. I don't hear about any other WHITE team coachs being found guilty. It is truly a racial thing.

Lets give a big round of appluase for all the morons on this forum that just notice that Isiah Thomas is black. Your families must be proud of the fact that even though that neither the article, Isiah, or the accuser, mentions anything about race, you have the special ability to put him in the same catagory O.J. Simpson, or someone that might need Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to come to their aid. Isaih like any other american found guilty in a court of law, has to pay a price and at the same time has the certian rights to appeal it.

Now if the sexes had been reversed, and trust me sexual harrasment is not limited to men going after women (or men), I wonder what the verdict would have been - if it would have even made it to court.

Sorry when it comes to S-H claims, I am for tossing 90% of them. Now I admit firing might have been wrongfull dismissal - or was it and the lawsuit was revenge. I usually don't insult women I try to pick up - that part itself makes little sense.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer a$$hole. His views on the proper time to refer to a woman as a 8itch are heartwarming. I hope they ally-oop him out the league.

Wasn't he also involved in the CBA? I remember something about him purchasing the CBA and running it as a single-entity league, only to abandon it a year later for an NBA coaching job. As of 1999, the CBA had survived for 54 years.

"...it shows that justice is working."

Considering the man has been paid millions and accomplished little in all of his years of management and that his one ownership deal, that of the CBA, literally cost hundreds of others their jobs...it hardly seems that justice was done. Isiah will wake up today with his salary intact, prancing around with that famous smile in his $3,000 suits...and never pay a dime out of his own pocket. Dolen is just as big of a scumbag. Money can't buy character.

I knew the jury would find him guilty after that stupid comment at the end of the disposition.

blowing money isn't a new thing for the Knicks- they do it all the time.

The Knicks could bump up the admission price to their

games to offset the cost of the judgement. The question

is:Would fans be willing to pay the increased prices?
