Many liberals hear talk of national culture and shout, "Nativist!" first and ask questions later, if at all. They believe it is a sign of their patriotism that they hold fast to the idea that we are a "nation of immigrants" -- forgetting that we are also a nation of immigrants who became Americans.

      Katic Couric is the John Murtha of the news. After this comment I felt I can not trust her to report the news fairly so I stopped watching her. Keep going Katie you and Dan Rather may share a common bond, unemployment.

        Thanks for submitting, Stephen. I don't agree that it is a simple "liberal/conservative" delineation, but I do agree that you hear the "global citizen" and "multiculturalism" stuff more from the Far Left.
