Oct. 16, 2007, 12:04 a.m.Let's hope it works better then the version I have. Securit center and many other enhancements have not worked from the initial installation date. I think i will wait for a week or 2 befoer jumping into it.

Oct. 16, 2007, 12:52 a.m.I miss the two engine model (Gecko and Trident). I don't like the look of Outlook webmail with the Firefox engine. 8.1 was a great productivity tool for me. Now the nads have been cutoff with 9, sadly, so I'm sticking with 8.x. I also auto login features of 8.x. And hey, where did the cool toolbar features go?
The one plus with using using the FF engine, I no longer have the BBoD problem which is persistant with all versions of 8.x with the IE engine. BBoD occurs when typing in webmail, such as MS Outlook, where hitting the back key in the text window is the same has hitting the Back Button on the browser. It's a hard coding problem that had to be fixed with a hard coded disabling script by a 3rd party. It trained me to back arrow and use the delete key.

Oct. 16, 2007, 2:33 p.m.Wow. I have been a loyal Firefox user since it was in its first beta, and I must say that I am so blown away by the new Netscape browser, I can seriously consider using something other than Firefox for the first time in years.
It looks great, it renders faster than I expected, and the built-in extra features are fantastic.
Congratulations, development team! You did a great job.
