Does Bush condone torture? "Only when you redefine torture so that it no longer means anything you can look the American people in the eye and say that."

How incredibly sad that the effects of torture need to be investigated as a current issue in the 21st century.

Torture is not 'ok.' Saying it is demeans our entire society. Not speaking out against it, demeans ourselves. Set the bar low, and we'll reach down to meet it.

"award-winning documentary on the US's torture practices"

Of course...anyone who makes a movie that is somehow anti-US will always be "award-winning" within Hollywood. Then again, torture, to them, is being forced to use more than 1 square of toilet paper.

Again, I ask if anyone of you lefties even cares about what the rest of the country does. If you are so concerned with how our ENEMIES are being treated, why don't you go jump in front of one of our tanks so the tanks don't hurt someone.
