Posted By ZiegfeldGirl 1 year, 8 months ago in NewsThe Hillary Clinton cackle is now a punch line. And with Halloween right around the corner how many young girls will go as Hillary Clinton? "The Hillary Clinton cackle has become a defense mechanism for the Democratic frontrunner president. Now she is being mocked on Comedy Central by Jon Stewart and that has put her on YouTube in a popular online video. It seems as if when she struggles or is asked a tough question she ignores it and laughs away."

It's a small step from cackling to manic laughter. Let's just hope it happens in the primaries instead of a Clinton Presidential Victory.
RedRiverJ submitted a wonderful article about concerns over Hillary and her Chinese support:

"But the ABC "reporter" Snow asserted that either Hillary Clinton is either "having a really good time out on the campaign trail, or she's the master of a shrewd political skill, disarming her critics with a gleam in her eye and a roar straight from the belly." Good luck selling that."
Yeah, good luck!

"Good luck selling that."
She doesn't have to sell it. She will be the Dems candidate. Given the demonization of the right by the media, she stands a good chance of winning. Especially if the right splits their vote between Ron Paul and whomever captures the Republican nomination.
I'm not too optimistic that the right can get their message in front of the American voter given the leftist control of the media. Without that, Hillary may well be a shoo-in.

I'll only vote for Hillary if she is the Democratic nominee and the Republicans don't field anybody that I can vote for (so far it looks like I'm voting for Hillary), but I don't particularly care for her or some of her 'policies'.
But, the hate of the Clintons on the right just boggles my mind.

I think it's equal parts hate and fear. They see daily signs the GOP is imploding, they realize the plug will finally be pulled on Chimpstock (aka the "war" in Iraq), and the neoclown reign of terror and their unfettered access to the US treasury will soon come to a shocking end. But what they fear most of all is Bill Clinton back in the Oval office. Wingnuts are sad and comical at the same time...

I also agree. The Cons hate for the Clintons is obsessive. It may stem from the defeat of the first President Bush in 92. The right wing wasn't able to destroy Bill Clinton the way they did Dukakis, and it sticks in their craw.
Clinton also deviated from the conservative policies and plans for their new world order. So, naturally they've elevated every little negative they could into something major in the hopes of "getting them".

So true Raiderwall!
Clinton was exposed for his affair with Jennifer Flowers long before he was elected the first time, yet the nation was so fed up with Bush Sr they would have elected just about anyone to get rid of him.
Why did they think Clinton would change his womanizing ways? Frankly, as long as he doesn't crawl into my bed, i could care less who he sleeps with, and as i remember, he spent as much if not more time in Church than i have seen Bush spend. The Clinton family was in Church a lot, i have never seen a picture of the whole Bush family in Church!

"It may stem from the defeat of the first President Bush in 92."
Wrong. The reason Bill won is because many Republicans were frustrated with Bush and his decision to end the Gulf War without the removal of Saddam.

You are on point Riderwall - it's why the followers call them bad people and have no explanation as to why they say that. All they know is that hey were bad. Ask them what they did and they evoke disproved mitts like white water and Hil investing $1000 and made 100.000 all stupid lies.

I read an interesting blog entitled "Why we hate Clinton". I think a lot of what it says is true. Here are a couple snippets:
"Why do we hate clinton? No, "hate" is not the word. Loathe? Despise? Abhore? The word, le mot juste, escapes me. It's a cross between pity and contempt. And regret. And anger.
But whatever the specific name of the disapprobation we feel, what is its cause, the etiology of this malady of so large a part of the body politic? It wasn't his politics. Politics is about compromise and manipulation, and there can be no complaint that the other side wins when it can. They think they're right, and they're not wrong for pursuing their goals, whether or not their ideals are objectively beneficial. Through disagreement we learn who is right."

"What was it, then?
It was the fact that he was President of the United States. That he was President. That a man who stood for nothing except ambition and a sucking need to be popular, should stand beside the giants who have lead this nation. That a man of such shoddy and mediocre character should represent this nation.
Charm? Certainly. Celerity of intellect? Undeniably. Likeable? I watched him on Charley Rose, and I wanted to like him. Such a waste of gifts. True potential for greatness, stuffed into such a small man. He was the funhouse mirror image of what a president should be; a dwarf who seemed large, a fool who seemed wise, a frog in a prince's office."

Personally, I never hated Bill Clinton. I didn't respect him and thought him a terrible President and leader, but typical of the Dems. Hillary is another issue. Is there a blog on why she is hated?

I dont get to vote in your country as I am not from there, but I watch a "lot" of the political posturing on the net/tv. Hiliary was one that I was once high on, as far as making positive changes in the US/world scene...maybe it was that I was a big fan of her husband. Now I dont know anymore...I am seeing her differently now. It appears as she is becoming a chameleon....adapting herself to the audience that she speaks to. She still looks like she may have a chance at this. If she is succesful I hope she is up to the task. I also like Paul and Obama....one has charisma the other seems to be unaffected by his political surroundings.

I think the "right's" dislike of Clinton pales (by far) in comparison to the "left's" hatred (no other word for it) of Bush.
I don't think Clinton should have been impeached. But, the "left" consistently tries to frame that whole situation as a privacy issue ("he got a bj, so what?") when it was totally a legal issue (perjury). That's what sticks in my craw on that subject.
When you mention "Bush" to most "liberals"...it's like watching a multiple personality disorder in action. Their faces change, their voices change, their hands start flailing or ball up into fists. It is a visceral reaction.

Needy, I think Cherev has proven our point. I don't recall ever reading a comment of his that wasn't laced with venom for what he thinks of as "the left" .
Obviously, he and others like him would see the Clintons as "the enemy", and a tough enemy at that, therefore, worthy of extra special venom.
Their whole political outlook is a search and destroy mission meant to wipe out anyone who doesn't agree with them. Rove put a name to it, he called it, "the permanent majority".

Raider, All very true!
We don't have to approve of Clinton's womanizing ways, but i do give him credit where it's due.
He was a Rhodes Scholar, super intelligent, and created a great economy.
The one thing i think people like cher hates worst is the fact that none of the accomplishments of Clinton could be attributed to a Conservative pres.

At least I didn't neg your comments. I confronted you outright. And, as I pointed out before, your comments aren't exactly laced with love.
I realize that it would be too much to ask for you to clean your own house before you pointed out how dirty mine is. Your hypocrisy is as unsurprising as your "bravery" in having a dialog with me.
You can have the last remark. I won't waste time reading it.

Raider, "The Cons hate for the Clintons is obsessive. It may stem from the defeat of the first President Bush in 92. The right wing wasn't able to destroy Bill Clinton the way they did Dukakis, and it sticks in their craw."
I have read on propeller statements by Libs that they want to kill bush, another offers the bullets. More talk of that sort.
People may not like or respect Clinton, but I haven't heard talk of killing him like there has been about Bush.

I haven't read those statements, and I don't support those kind of statements.
They're destructive, not productive. Of course, some of the online screen names of conservative thinking folk are not exactly productive either.

Clinton is much more conservative on a variety of issues than Obama. Hillary's problem lies in that she is trying to woo both conservatives and liberals. She's taking the chance that enough of the voters from both sides and a good heap of the middle take her in. It angers all those people that are ultra-conservative or ultra liberal so she gets a lot of flack. She is just a few notches to the right of her Husband Bill Clinton. She is taking a line straight out of the playbook of her husband.
