I wonder how long she'll be allowed to speak. Very telling that the first to be locked up were human rights people. With the media blackout, people are sure to be kept in a state of confusion, not knowing what to do. It's really easy for a few to control many.

Wow, was I wrong. I thought Musharraf instituted martial law while going after the terrorist consisting of the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Somehow the Pakistani Supreme Court and Lawyers and middle class of Pakistan are the terrorist as perceived by Musharraf.
Got that one wrong, just another petty dictator that Bush now condones while deriding other despots. Hypocrisy reins especially in Washington D.C. and George Bush is still my idiot in chief who is all knowing and all seeing.

Don't worry, NelsonR. When it comes to being wrong on backing unpopular Middle Eastern dictators, our government has a long string of bad calls, but never learns a thing.

NelsonR,
I have a lot of respect for anyone that can admit they were wrong. Especially anyone here on Propeller! I've been wrong many times, so welcome to the club.
I am not sure what is really going on in Pakistan right now, but this one is a little harder to sort out with Pakistanis being suspicious of Bush's involvement and at the same time Bush and Rice calling for the elections to go off as planned. I don't know if this is for show so that the American public is thrown off track or there is another agenda. Like I said, this one is hard to read.

DarkWizard: I'll be watching for disinformation. Useless rhetoric that is a smoke screen allowed to get out to hide the real facts. The same thing we did in Nam. The same thing we are doing in Iraq. I 'll be watching for troop movements that are in line with a hostile takeover. Watching for foreign troop movements for attacking or blocking positions. I'll also be watching the Russians and Chinese to get a feel for their involvements. Don't like the looks of this. Again the middle east powder keg could be the martial law lie Bush uses. Could be Bush seeing how to work it out to get his power play going. To many variables and unknown players to get a good read. Good post jovial.
