Note well that nowhere, nowhere in this article was male appearance mentioned.
One can only assume that it's a topic the authors felt it best not to touch upon, given the dismal realties of aging, or that they believe appearance doesn't rate in the list of qualities that women look for when seeking men, of whatever age.
But of course, appearance DOES count. So the article condescends to both men and women in this regard.

It has been my experience that there are plenty of younger women who have "daddy" issues and want an older man to love them. Easy really if you have had any game in your life whatsoever. Trust me, there are p l e n t y!

It's really a large variety of factors. While there are some women who would never date and older guy, there are some who have no problems with the age thing. If a guy can demonstrate specific qualities, then he can attract the women who like a more mature man.
