I agree with the article. A woman who carries a condom with her is a savvy, got it together type of woman. I laugh though at the little carrying cases that can be purchased for the condoms. Why would you spend extra money so you can carry them around in fashion? The fashion industry dictates far to many of our actions as it is. Put it in your purse and keep it there until needed, period.

I agree with the article. A woman who carries a condom with her is a savvy, got it together type of woman. I have to laugh though at the suggestion of purchasing a carrying case for your condom. Put it in your purse until you need it, period. The fashion industry dictates too many of our actions as it is.

To much importance is put on condoms, they don't protect you in so many ways but nobody ever mentions that. The numbers of kids with STDs are so high because even the teachers that teach sex education don't give them the full story.

The trend does create an opportunity within the promotional marketing arena for custom imprinted condoms. Bars, nightclubs, salons, tobacco companies any company that wants to market to women and cares about what women care about should consider custom imprinted condoms.
As for those who look down on a woman for carrying a condom, I ask, "Do you also look at men who carry a condom the same way?"
I say let's let personal choices be personal. And condoms for those who choose to go that route are personally responsible.
