Well, just goes to show there are people in the "church" who do not believe the Bible. Must have joined the priesthood for a vocation rather than because he believed the Bible. There are such persons who claim to be Christians but who do not believe the Bible: 1) to be the inspired Word of God; 2) to be true in statements about the material universe; and who hold to their opinions rather than that taught by the Word of God.

Calling Creationism "superstitious paganism" is an arrogant statement. Since God is all powerful and certainly knows more than this man, why should it be inconceivable for Him to create and finalize creation in six twenty four hour periods? His statement says that Moses was a fool or thought the Israelites were pagan and merely superstitious and thus fools! This is arrogance one often finds among those who feel this generation is more intelligent, more knowlegeable, more advanced than any generation which has preceded it!

All things are possible with God... so that about covers things... I love science and nature and God... does that make me self conflicting? The bible tells us the earth is round.. imagine if the early churches paid attention to that and believed it. :O)
