TimALoftis, thanks you for link. Here is what I found:

Algeria, which has a population of three million, is still recovering from more than a decade of violence that began after the military government called a halt to elections which an Islamist party was poised to win.

Maybe we should let "DayLight" and "Tanglang" exchange 'intellectual shootout" with each other.

Daylight, take a step back and look at all Islamic nations. They are all ruled by despots. Many are western puppets, but those who are not, are still despots. They are all the same, they want power and if it means selling out to the west, they will. If it means towing the line for fanatic Islamists, they will. None are in power to serve their people. The same goes for western nations, all our leaders bow down to the Zionist banks and media. It is a fact, all our leaders have sold ou to keep their little power. but they aint powerful, they are just puppets.

For all your criticisms of the west, Daylight, your muslim leaders are just the same.

Until the day comes (which i don't think it ever will) that all countries people unite against the scum controlling us, then your beloved Islamic nations are just as bad as the wests!

As long as we hate eachother, we can be controlled.

The zionist New world order will only be accepted by everyone if their country is in such a mess that they are willing to accept a one world government as the solution to all their problems. For that to happen, their country must be totally broken down. All our countries are being broken down, but in many different ways. The best example is the US. While it's peeps are so patriotic, waving their little stars and stripes, to the rest of the world, even the nations allied to them (the governments..not the people) they have become a sick joke. with a cry of 'freedom' they fanatically undermine their own freedoms. always with the excuse of 'terrorism'. Meanwhile, even Iraq don't come close with US fatalities compared to the rate that they are killing eachother in the US. But all those murders aint terrorism, just a sick society, so it don't count.

hell, for Americans, freedom means being free to murder eachother, but as soon as a muslim joins in, it's terrorism.

                How's that for stupidity?

On a regular basis, american children will get hold of a gun and kill many innocent people. There will be much sobbing and wailing, but it will be accepted. Meanwhile, in this so called free and fair nation, if a muslim shoots a single person, then hysteria will be whipped up and it will be a 'terrorist' attack.

the US has alienated itself even from the people of it's allied nations because...putting it bluntly...it is just so stupid!!

I am Australian, my 2 closest friends are American, i love them with all my heart. but by god I do not like the American nation at the moment. I apologize to the American peeps who see that there is a gross problem in what was once the nation which symbolized freedom. It is the richest, most armed nation on earth, when it stood for good, that was a bonus and relief to the world. but now it is hated by not only the nations it has picked on, but by many of those in countries which are its allies and with good reason. it has become a dangerous, aggressive and paranoid threat to all nations on earth. It is the government, not the people. but sadly there are many americans who call themselves patriots but are so dumb that they can not distinguish the difference between government and country. When there is a rogue government in power, like now, these people are the greatest threat to the very fabric of the spirit of the United States of America, yet see themselves as patriots.

I immigrated to the US from Hong Kong 30 years ago. I came because, as a woman, my chances for self determination and to lead a free life were not good. America isn't perfect, it isn't as good as it could be or should be, and it might even be bad in many ways. But so many places are so much worse.

                            > By your definition, if my "people" whoever they may be, decide we want to live in your house, it's OK, since we have the right to self determination?

No because it's MY house. If, however, we live in THE SAME house and we can not share it we'll have to find a way to DIVIDE it.

                            > Do the Palestinians have the right to self determination? Because if you think they do, it's OK for them to go in and kick Israel out. And if you think otherwise, you are anti-Palestinian.

False assumptions always lead to false conclusions. Your assumption that the land of Palestine BELONGS to Arabs is false. Read the explanation above.

                            > Anti-Zionism does not have to be antisemitism, whether you can grasp it or not.

Antisemitism is a form of racism. If and when you'll show that with anti-Zionism you apply the very same rules to Jews and all other peoples I'll gladly agree with you.

In the six day war, the ultimate fate of Jerusalem was decided once and for all. It was the 23rd time since the time of Jesus that the fate of Jerusalem was decide once and for all. Either the Jews and the Palestenians make peace, or there will be a 24th time. I am Chinese and I have no preconceived prejudices. I just want peace. Israel is in a good bargaining position now since it controls the land. Now is the time to be generous and give more than the other side would give if it were in control. Maybe that is how the circle of violence can be stopped.

Not at all. You see, first the Palestinians have to agree to the bargaining. Second, the "other side" (the Palestinians) has NOTHING to give and is WILLING to give even less. Third, seven years ago Israel already made offers the Palestinians could only dream of and the Palestinians responded by a terrorist war known as the Intifadah.

                                > Maybe that is how the circle of violence can be stopped.

Every single war in history ended by FORCING the enemy to ask for peace, not by giving it more reasons to continue fighting. You recommend to Israel to be "generous" in response to Arab violence. WHY would not the Arabs become even MORE violent to make Israel even more "generous"???
