About dang time. Now the parties can unite. The Democrats can display a spine and the Republicans can begin to look like statesmen. The PEOPLE are ready for this. Congress should be looking at a poll of this and they will see. The Consitution is being torn down by this administration. Congress has taken an oath to uphold and defend it. It is about time they lived up to that oath.

IMPEACHMENT! YEAH! Do it! Send this cabal packing. Impeach, indict and imprison these criminals!

Whew! It's been a long time coming! They had better do something soon if they want to be re-elected. Our senatorial election is coming soon, and they are acting scared! Bout Time!

Truly amazing. Those folks you voted in last year don't do a thing that they promised and just one comes along and tosses you a bone and the same time the rest of them are still shoving your nose in the crap you regurgitate, and with no hesitation at all you all start drooling in anticipation. It's Pavlov's Dog 2008

Aniokly: "Oh, for God's sake, you people are so naive."

I prefer looking naive; than being a bonified miscreant.

          Kucinich has guts and nuts!

Let his articles see the light of the day, and then Dumbya would know the pain he has been inflicting on others!

Anyone with guts and nuts, stand up.

Anyone without, stand down or become a footnote to the history.

              jovial,

What a great segue from your last post to this one! My last comment was, "If we can get Bush out before he does any more damage it'll be a miracle, but I rather see him impeached. That would give some credibility back to the U.S."

Hopefully, everyone realizes that impeachment is a make or break proposition for the Democrats. It'll both put a fire back under the Democrats and bring respectability back to this party. Or, it could backfire and make the Dems look like asses thereby strengthening the Republicans position. There is a third option too, but let's see what happens with Kucinich presenting this to the Senate first.

The timing of this impeachment is critical, also. This could force Bush and Cheney to forgo their agenda and concentrate on making sure their asses are covered or it could speed up their timetable and cause a distraction from impeaching. Here again there is a third option, but let's wait to see when the impeachment papers are presented.

Even if in the end Kucinich gets nowhere with this, at least he tried, and that's alot more then I can say for the others. That shows me he cares about America and her citizens, unlike the others.

Come on! the others have shown that they put themselves first, above America, above our laws, above our constitution, and that's just not right.

Keep up the impeachment - senate ratings will drop from 11% to 2%.

Admirable, but a little too late. The damage has been done to this country. "Zietgeist-the Movie" on youtube will probably explain why our country will never be the same.

we have a president threatening world war III and determined to invade iran regardless of the facts. he already did it once, and he will do it again if congress rolls over the same way they did with the iraq war powers resolution. every last congressperson, pub or dem, who signed that unconstitutional document allowing bush / cheney to invade and occupy a sovereign nation without actually declaring war should be held accountable... including hillary clinton. it is time our leaders acted like servants of the people, and eschew the institutionalized culture of corruption that permeates washington d.c.

dennis kucinich knows he is not going to be president. he is not submitting articles of impeachment for selfish reasons. he is trying to stop an administration that has shown gross contempt for the rule of law. he is trying to stop another devastating, illegal war and save countless innocent lives. he is a great american.

Maybe if they drag this on long enough, the next election will be here and oooooh, then it's too late to do anything.

I don't understand all this talk about impeaching the president. Could not all of the troubles we are going to impeach the president with been prevented if congress had stepped up to their responsibility and so no to him. It's our elected officials that we can blame not just one man. This congress has utterly failed in its responsibility. Case in point is the "energy bill". The best they could do was to saddle the auto companies with a 35 mpg which will cost them billions and us when we go to purchase a new vehicle and do little to reduce our dependency on oil. The congress has to accept as much responsibility for our failures as the president.

I think all talk of impeachment should be tabled until after Bush wins re-election. After all, he's the one all the major Democratic candidates are running against as evidenced by the debates.
