    Talk about hypocritical.

Don't like the speech, that's OK, we'll delete it from the records. This from the same agency that can't actually do anything to sort out the various problems round the world...

OK, I admit, their health & childrens programs are worthwhile.

I have said for many years now that the U.N. emergency aide work should continue, but any idea that the U.N. can perform peace keeping/humanitarian actions is laughable.

The concept of the UN is good, but restructuring is needed. At the present time there isn't any alternative to it.

Reproduced below is an excerpt from a speech given by Cabot Lodge in Washington D.C. on 12 August 1919 in which he set forth his objections to the League of Nations

"We would have our country strong to resist a peril from the West, as she has flung back the German menace from the East. We would not have our politics distracted and embittered by the dissensions of other lands. We would not have our country's vigour exhausted or her moral force abated, by everlasting meddling and muddling in every quarrel, great and small, which afflicts the world."

Perhaps if the USA would have joined the League of Nations WWII may have been avoided.

The concept of the UN is a good one, there is room for improvement if not a complete overhaul, but we cannot afford to abandon the concept.

Unfortunately many of the propeller members who most strongly pose as upholders of morality in human affairs and justice for all have not deigned to comment here. Some of them, like Spadecaller, surely ignore this travesty because they cannot find a way to blame Christians. By their silence they show themselves to be just as hypocritical as the UN Human Rights Council.

Ok .... the UN has been a screw up at times in world affairs, as has Bush. Who has done the most damage in the world .... that is my question. I think we all know the answer to that .... at least I hope so.

My, my! Another ZionCon front propaganda site denigrating the UN! How terrified the ZionCons are that Americans will join the UN in putting an end to zionist crimes against humanity! How they must bombard us with propaganda to allay their guilt feelings!

Defining Israeli Zionist Racism: Part 1

... Section 1: Analysis of Israeli Zionist racism

Before demonstrating the material aspects and institutionalized policies of Israeli racism in Palestine (and actions and policies in the Arab world), we must define said racism in its practical and ideological terms. However, to do just that, we still have to define first the term, "racism" itself. As a preliminary approach, we decided to rely on the definition given by the United Nations Organization. ...
