Way to go eco!
I see the smear Paul express is going full speed ahead in the last week. It's sad that the only candidate who even mentions the constitution is smeared as being a nut.
Just think how different things would be with a dem/rep congress trying to get bills past a president who bases all his actions on the constitution...now that would be real change!

I'm thinking very seriously about a similar move here in Massachusetts, Eco. We truly need someone who will tell the people why the Constitution isn't just an old piece of paper.

In the most hopeful of worlds, where Ron Paul lives, every complex problem has a simple solution.
Yeah, right!

My biggest reservations about Ron Paul is...
(1)Scorched Earth policy on social programs:Wouldn't be as bad if he got all of our jobs back...otherwise it's real bad on the poor.
(2)Roe vs Wade
Reply-

mntnman4441 year, 6 months ago
I totally disagree with him on Roe but he never fails to repeat that the president is not the king and he prefers to leave these decisions to the states which is what the constitution calls for.Citizens have much more access and control of their community at the local level.

if hillary makes it, i will take advantage of every social program i can get my hands on. it will be my right. who cares if it bankrupts our system. i want the govt to take care of me. and, why not? illegals do it!! ...and so will I!
and re: Roe v Wade,
ron Paul will not ammend the consitution. but, rather leave up to the individual states to decide their own laws regarding abortion. not the federal govt.

let us not forget, Ron Paul is an OB/GYN. How can we expect him to feel any different when his profession is based on human life?
I don't agree with him, but, aside from abortion, overall, he is the best man for the job of Presidency!

From the above link:
Q: What do you think of Social Security?
A: It's a mess. And it proves that the government is not very good at central economic planning, even for retirement. The money was taken from the people with good intention. We should do our best to return it to those that have taken it. But we need to allow the young people to just flat out get out of the system. Because, if you have the government managing these accounts, it's not going to work.
So...what happens to 25% of the population which is entering retirement over the next couple of decades? Any answers?

Each state should have it's own retirement fund that can be closely watched by the citizens.
Can you think of a federal agecy that has been competant?

Kucinich carries the Constitution with him wherever he goes, what differentiates the two of them? Kucinich wants universal not for profit healthcare, what does Dr. Paul offer as a solution to that problem. It seems all of the reps talk about is God and terrorism.

there is nothing wrong with offering competitive health care rates. which results in keeping our taxes lower. nothing is free. we pay for it one way or another.
but, fact is, I like Dennis K as well. i hope paul and kucinich could team up.

Be advised:
Fox News is now barring Ron Paul from a presidential forum just 2 days before the primaries.

I say we show them what kind of spammers we really are and clog their email and phone lines with complaints and messages of discontent!

First, Ron Paul becomes the Republican nominee. Second, Dr. Paul becomes President Paul. Third, our country becomes America again.

Besides having a baby out of wedlock, which as we know we don't illegal immigrants to do, we have plenty of our own citizens doing it right here right now, or getting injured on government property so you can sue for damages, how do you propose raping our social system?
