Come on now!
Just because O'reilly claimed that Sweden's suicide rate was the highest in the world when it's really 35th, and that his facts aren't even half right doesn't make him any less entertaining than that drunk I see at the bar every few weeks.
Of course the drunk knows he's just spouting crap.

Ok. But to hijack an entire political party would take a lot of will on the part of that party. Republicans got caught up in the power and went along until it got too hot for them in the kitchen.
You can't have it both ways. If you are going to be seduced by power, don't be suprised when you end up having to get an abortion.

And furthermore, anything Bill O'Reilly says that isn't about intimidating women, loofa sponges, booze, or drug abuse should be ignored. Those are the only things he is qualified to talk about.

"Why is it that republicans who support George Bush think that saying anything bad about him is disrespecting "the office" of president?"
It's the same rationale as people who think criticizing the government is unpatriotic.
Or criticizing Christian dominionsists and fundamentalists who believe their version of Christianity should be the one national religion. They call you anti-Christian for objecting to their exclusionary ideas.
Do they actually believe that criticizing Bush is disrespecting the office? I don'r really think they can be that dumb.
It's just a defensive tactic; to defend the president by accusing his adversaries of being enemies of the state.
Good 'ole vintage McCarthyite tactics.

...and yet, all these nutjobs considered it their patriotic duty to criticize our previous president ...just because he didn't have an (R) behind his name and he held some liberal positions (and BTW, we liberals did not consider Bill Clinton to be a true liberal...not by any stretch of the definition).
Such hypocrites!

Thanks for the invite Spadecaller.
Let me tell you a story about Canadian politics, we once had a Prime Minister called Brian Mulrony. Now in Canada you can run for office as often as you want and he had three majority governments and is to this day the most voted for PM we have ever had. During his last term with the national debt rising he brought in a new 7% good and service tax which went a long way in paying down the debt as it was meant to. On his way out the Liberal party used it's largest smear campaign to discredit him with allegations of kickbacks and wrong doing. The conservative party lost the next election by a huge landslide and the party was destroyed never to rise again. That resulted in a Liberal government that was truly corrupt and filled their own pockets with one scam after another. The Conservative party here in Canada is not the same one that fell to peaces but an alliance between the extreme right and the moderate right, how long it lasts I can't say.

The reason I tell you this story is that when the country gave all their support to one party as because of their disappointment of another you have a real danger of abuse of power. I don't see the republicans as being apologetic for the blight on humanity they put in office, thats wrong and scares me. However after hearing Hillary speak she is way to in line with the current government to make me think things will change or those to blame will be brought to justice. It's a scary time to be an American indeed.
As for the post of president it is but a person, I have no idea why the Americans think the position is so important and should not be ridiculed, look at some of the past presidents and you see people just begging to be made fun of.

I like how Keith Obermann never lets us forget how Billo thinks its best for an abducted kid to remain with a pedophile than to be returned to his own family. Must be some correlation to why the Repugs under Hastert didn't even bother to make any changes to congressional ethics after the Foley scandal!

Bill is a fair and balanced guy.
Fox News makes all of the other news programs look like communist news stations.
Hillary is a Commie ****** and will NEVER win it.
Obama is even worse than she is.
The next President will once again be an American, Not a Communist, or a woman, or a black Muslim.

It would be fun to actually see just what world you are are living in there auto. It sure isn't based in reality.
I have sat and listened to O'Reilly say things on his show that I know to be lies and half truths. I know because I've looked some of them up using reliable sources.
As far as FOX news is concerned the whole out fit are pin heads. I saw their so called stock experts picks one day..one said to by Beezer homes stock. Good advice if you want to loose your money. Fools, dolts and pinheads. FOX has it all. And yes O'Reilly IS a pinhead.

auto, ever see the results of the 2003 PIPA Study that found regular Fox viwers wrong on 80% of common facts for which all the other news agency regular viewers scored greater accuracy? 2008, and you just validated that the 2003 data is still accurate (except you score 100% wrong)!

so auto, please address the specific cases cited above and rebut them... other than your gross exagerations and lies on Dems runninng for the high office! Your comments above only show how biggoted and un-American you are, typical of a Billo/Faux Fox Facts supporter!

Part of it is my opinion but part of it is fact. Donald 51 points out facts. Read his posts and try to actually think for yourself instead of letting FOX hand feed you what they want you to think. But like many people these days you seem to be content to follow like a sheep. For my self I don't like being herded by anyone so you will forgive me if I continue to use the brain I was given. If you want to leave yours rot at FOX news HQ be my guest.

Quote from post above
:
"The next President will once again be an American, Not a Communist, or a woman, or a black Muslim".
So according to this Nazi, a woman born in USA is not an American, a man born in USA is not an American.
Only a man born in USA and is white is an American.
I think your country has a long way to go with these Nazis making such statements.

The problem is rich white America is so entrenched in power they will not give it up. They put token people in harmless places but nothing changes, if some one tries the get ride of them. In all honesty most counties are the same but the American moral compass is so far out of whack they think they are above any laws.

Despite a 75% strong showing nationwide in the straw polls, both Fox News and, possibly, ABC (the jury is still out), have chosen to exclude GOP candidate Ron Paul from the debates. If the Henhouse News Network drops Ron Paul from the debates, does that make Ron Paul the new Fox? Deplorable, unconscionable, execrable. They have just slapped the American people in the face. Congratulations, Henhouse News (no, you're not "Fox" anymore), you're trying to ram YOUR choice for president down OUR throats and we don't like it.
Groucho Marx was right: "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, and then applying the wrong remedies". We can now expand upon Groucho's elucidation on this subject matter to include America's biased and abusive, so-called "news" media, as well.
Pinheads---the lot of them.

Please, this is nothing more than a pi$$y little rant using untrue, left-wing generalizations of republicans.
Namecritic, if you really "long for the day when republican supporters of Bush have real arguments rather than slogans they use to answer every question", why don't you try posing some adult, intelligent questions instead of shooting liberal, juvenile spitballs?

Apparently very few of you have actually listened to O'reilly speak....as he is not a Republican, but is a registered Independent.
You also must've missed the numerous and often times that he bashes the administration for its' ineptitude and stupidity.
Also, O'reilly never said that Sweden had the HIGHEST suicide rate in the world, he said '...one of the highest.."
- get YOUR facts right before you drool all over yourself.
Earthlingerer - you should always take the extra TWO SECONDS to fact-check before making any claim - Sweden is listed as 32nd on the suicide rate list - NOT 35th.

He used to claim he won a Peabody too until Franken nailed him! How about his stated amazement when he was treated decently in that black owned restaurant... he is a true bigot using patriotism merely as a front for his bigotry! How about the legal suit he had to solve out of court for sexual abuse? The facts are there for somone with a conscience and a true moral compass to see Billo's hypocrisy.
He has even filed as a repug to vote... where his independant claim falls apart too!

Catcall at O'Reilly all you want, but while you are at it check out his numbers as compared to Olbermann and or Mathews.
And while you are disrespecting the President, take a look at how he has handled the Pelosi/ Reid initiatives.
Name calling doesn't change the facts and I doubt that history will confirm the image currently pushed by the BushHate crowd.

The facts have Keith rising and Billo dropping with them running equal for about the last two months... so you still just keep swilling down Billo's BS, huh?
So you like torture, the loss of habeas corpus, Gitmo, preemptive war, poor kids w/o health assistance, 10 trillion debt, and eavesdropping w/o a warrant on Americans - says a lot for your unscrupulous soul!

I think Bill O'Rielly is a pinheaded blowhard and I have never given up very much of my time watching him. He calls himself a conservative but he's just a big wind. Sorry, to disappoint but I've been thinking for myself for a good while now and have become fairly good at it. lol Sometime you guys just assume to much.
So what does this have to do with the Prez?

I used to laugh when Mathews was "discussing" Cheney's possible involvement in the Plame fiasco.
He positively drooled and spat. He and Olbermann are fools of a feather.
As for this: "Bill O'Reilly, well read the totally objective evaluations in about ninety percent of the Posts."
I would guess about 95%, but who's counting? ;)

**********...
Your facts seem true as far as you have stated them, however as to " running equal", I have my doubts. A quick look via google came up with 2 million plus viewers for O'Reilly and 800 plus thousand for Olbermann. Maybe the trend will favor your hopes, but then maybe not.
One last question, do you really think the use of invective enhances the power of argument?

Aceofspades1:
You're right.
Isn't it simply deplorable that the Henhouse News Network aka "Fox" will ignore the plight of a true American heroine, Dorothy Hamill, at Johns Hopkins University Hospital; then give us their "Britney moments" about some wigged out, Hollyweird train wreck with a bank account who had to be forcibly hospitalized because she was an unfit mother?
Is this nation's "news" media upside-down or what? O'Reilly and his gang of crazies are just disgraceful.
