Barack Obama's Racist Church »
Posted By rockman069 1 year, 10 months ago in NewsImagine if Mitt Romney's church proclaimed on its website that it is "unashamedly white." The media would pounce, and Romney's presidential candidacy would be over. Yet that is exactly what Barack Obama's church says on its web site Ã;¢ââ;;¬" except in reverse.

"In sermons and interviews, Dr. Wright has equated Zionism with racism and Israel with South Africa under its previous policy of apartheid. On the Sunday after 9/11, Wright said the attacks were a consequence of violent American policies. Four years later, Wright suggested that the attacks were retribution for America's racism."
Extremism is demonstrated on so many fronts. Here is another one.

The United Nations have said the same thing, although they retracted it under pressure from the US and Israel.
So people are thrown out of their homes and off their land. Not allowed to return home because of their race or religion. And you don't call that racism??

Those who opposes Apartheid were right. By the way, once corrected South Africa has gone on to thrive as a sovereign nation..Israel is not as extreme as Apartheid, but it is not a complete stretch. Perhaps they too can begin to thrive and be
free from the fear of violence. Sometimes you have to back the truck out of the mud before you can move forward..
Spinning the wheels only makes the hole deeper.

It has been many months since I sunk a story. But this kind of mindless muckraking is an embarassment to Propeller and to all community-minded Americans. If I was new and considering membership here, I would have left after seeing this kind of crap and the number of extremists who support it. What a shame...

I GET IT NOW!!!!
George Bush can't do anything because Congress is impeding,
but Obama is going to turn this nation into his own personal race war??
The TRUTH is that Bush had his chance to get Congress' trust and proved he doesn't deserve it..|
Obama, if given his chance can gain back what Bush has taken from us and move America back towards the American dream and that scares you more than admitting that you have backed the wrong horse (more like a jack-ass)
Doesn't it??
Is your ego greater than the value of our nation's future??
Maybe..we know your fear is!

I agree. There are several candidates that wear their religion on their sleeve, and much is known about their stance. Obama has been relatively quiet in that aspect. What is his stances? What are his views regarding Middle East countries and their conflicts? How involved or disinterested would we be if he were elected?
I think we as an American public need that information.

Ok let me put an end to something before it goes to far...I dont care what color Obama is..I dont care what religion he is...what I care about is the honesty to which a person running for the president of the united states upholds..I am perfectly willing to accept the idea that Obama is a christian...I really dont care..what is he going to do next? Will he risk offending the Muslim community by condemming the actions of the extremist...he must be willing to put the interst of this country first..

He wont. Obama has many times declared that the reverend wright was responsible for making him who he is. My question is, who is he? Did the good reverend mold him in his own image? Is barak ashamed to be half white? Does he believe the reverend when he says this is "The United States of White America"? If so, or if there was any truth to that, what do they think about barak standing a good chance of being president?

I have not been a member of any denomination or congregation for many, many years, but I have attended services in a variety of churches during that time. I occasionally attended Trinity United Church Christ in Bartlett, TN during the 1980s, because the minister was a personal friend. It was a very traditional (and moderate) church experience, and one of the few racially mixed churches in Shelby County.
The "United Churches of Christ," I might mention, are not associated with the "Church of Christ," which is much more fundamentalist in its doctrines and worship. In fact, the United Churches of Christ are part of a larger association which includes the United Methodist Churches, whom they closely resemble.

The Church of Christ is so fundamentalist that they don't belong to a larger group. Each church is autonomous and is operated by the Deacons and Elders of the church. The Church of Christ is not pentecostal. Communion is offered at every Sunday morning service, they have no musical accompaniment during services and they celebrate only one religious holiday, Sundays, and they do that 52 times a year. Everyone is welcome, too.

BO (Barack Obama) touts himself as the 'time for a change' candidate. Change for who? Does this mean we can look forward to brothers Jesse and Al, and maybe even Oprah as policy makers for America? If these are the folks you want running our government I feel sorry for you. If you think the country is divisive now under Bush just imagine what would happen if BO gets elected.

The majority of blacks see only black, which is where your '95%' comes from. I could give a good rip about who anyone votes for but they should do their homework first and not vote for anyone based on emotion. I will reiterate what I said in my previous post:"if you think the country is divisive now..."
The riots in Watts and after Rodney King were small potatoes.
