This article is not an attack on religion or Christianity. It is, however, specifically directed at those who conspire to abolish pluralism in America, and those who seek to destroy the public education.
"Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism has ever invented for its own destruction."
Have you read similar comments? Afer reviewing the videos and brief commentary submitted in this article, what do you think? Who is the author of the quote above? Has fascism taken hold in our government?

Yes. And we only have one chance to stop it from growing.

That's not what Dominionists believe. They believe they are to have dominion over the earth. It may be the primary goal of extremist "evangelicals," but not necc. Dominionists.
Here's one of the best theological papers/arguments *against* dominionism that I've read:

Ironic how recently all of the articles recently posted that are "not an attack on religion or Christianity" have been posted by Spadecaller.
Relax! Please! As if the United Federation of Teachers would EVER allow that to happen! Don't worry that pretty little head of yours. The teacher's union will keep its' firm grip on education making sure its' the only game in town.

lol... No, this article is a hoot.
It is a laugh because under Hitler's rule home schooling was made illegal in Germany and to this day it is still illegal there. So, much for the article claiming that true Christians and Hitler have anything in common, much less a desire to destroy public education.
I home schooled both of my daughters, yet I do not want to see public school done away with. I would like to not be forced to pay for them. And I would like for public school teachers to not think that people give birth to give them a job. I would also like for our government to leave home schoolers alone in all U.S. states.

Remember, in times of strife, warfare, and general malaise, it is human nature to invent religions - since they cannot rule with secular power, they invent a metaphysical "reality" and call it the hereafter. And when they invented GOD, they conveniently contend that He (God) "created us in His own image", the easier to ascribe to the Deity agravated human passions and "virtues".
What typical Middle-eastern hypocrisy!

I believe they are starting something that will never happen. What a waste of time!!
If you don't want your children going to a public school take them out and do your own thing but leave everyone else alone. I'm so sick of people trying to make others believe as they do. Supposedly everyone in this country can do as he/she wants and that means believeing however you choose to believe.

Precisely! What is it that they do not understand about
"FREEDOM of religion"? "FREEDOM of worship"?
As it stands - we HAVE that freedom. We can worship as our
faith dictates - go to any house of worship that we choose -
we can attend everyday and twice on Sunday's if we want.
THAT seems to be exactly what sticks in their craw!
They do not want our country to cherish Freedom of Religion -
they only want their own faith acknowledged. That's not the
way our Founding Fathers wanted it - and neither do I!

To learn about the progress of the dominionist movement, go to http://www.theocracywatch.org/
The dominionists have deliberately kept their movement under the radar. According to former leader of the Christian Coalition, Ralph Reed,
"I want to be invisible. I do guerrilla warfare. I paint my face and travel at night. You don't know it's over until you're in a body bag." (Norfolk Virginian-Pilot, November 9, 1991)
"It's like guerrilla warfare. If you reveal your location, all it does is allow your opponent to improve his artillery bearings. It's better to move quietly, with stealth, under cover of night. You've got two choices: You can wear cammies and shimmy along on your belly, or you can put on a red coat and stand up for everyone to see. It comes down to whether you want to be the British army in the Revolutionary War or the Viet Cong. History tells us which tactic was more effective." (Los Angeles Times, March 22, 1992)

"Children are the prize to the winners in the next great civil war" James Dobson
I'll bet people will read that and just laugh at the absurdity. They'll figure Dobson is a kook, & there's no problem here. They won't be more wrong. There is a very serious problem here. But for the life of me, I don't know how to get through to people that our country is falling apart from the inside, & its been so insidious that you'd almost need to go back to school to learn what has happened.
There are two forces in bed together here. The money people, and religious extremists. The extremists will give them a government of 'yes men', in return for social power. And the prize for both groups, is the world. Religious extremists don't plan on stopping with the U.S., and corporatists certainly don't plan on that.

Corporatists have in a sense already drugged and date raped the US, they have robbed and abandoned her.(the evidence is clear in their willingness to end the middle class, drain the economic base without reinvesting, and their drool over bringing Asia into it's lair with it's vast number of "consumers") Now they seek new victims. They will filch every economy and dry up every resource of each nation on Earth if not reigned in. These loonies that hate education are building a bridge to the feudal age. Hey you don't want your kid to have a public education? You can place them in private schools. End of story. The US is ranked 29th in Education, Socio-economic issues are more at the root of this than public schools. At least in my state we take pride in our schools and invest in the future through them. If the author of that trash can read and write
(which one must assume), how did they learn those skills? Seems they should be thanking teachers rather than condemning.

dandt: thanks for your comments. Regarding your statment:
"I believe they are starting something that will never happen. What a waste of time!!"
I wish I was as confident about that as you. Assuming they are not a threat is likely more dangerous than anything. That is how so many of them have influenced candidates and legislation. That is how the Nazis took over Germany; everyone "assumed" that they were just a bunch of crackpots that would fade away.
Perhaps you are unaware of HR Res 888, the new pending legislation...

Education dissipates ignorance. Of course the ignorant are against it. The elitists who use them sure don't want them educated. Rove himself said he felt most people could be persuaded to vote for his candidates unless they had too much education. As ludicrous as this position is, the reasons are obvious.

Our country will go back to having a lot more uneducated people if every body had to pay for schooling. That would indeed create more stupidity than what we already have out in the public. Of course as long as there is the inheritance tax the churches and faith base charities are kept up well with donations for tax deductions, instead of an heir taking and using the money to open up a business that could help put people to work. Of course, the corporations and the churches need these people poor to have these deductions along with the lawyers and banks that bring them about.

I don't see an attack on religion. The truth is as plain as your personal contempt for me. Why do you try to spin my story into an attack on religion; hoping to deflect the focus from the real issues? The story is not about Spade.
But apparently you have your reasons why you would like to make it all about me; by now, most anyone knows what they are.

"Our country will go back to having a lot more uneducated people if every body had to pay for schooling."
Actually, there were more literate people during the War of Northern Aggression than now and the state and federal governments didn't collect taxes to pay for education. Gee, I wonder how they got schooled. lol
These days our public schools are turning out high school graduates who can't read. BTW, everybody is paying for schooling. Who do you think pays. Whether it's a religious school, secular school or home schooling your children will receive a far better education and be safer than at a public school. Parents if you love your children get them out of public schools.

How interesting that Wolfie comes and sinks a story, and then posts his comments. Normal people who sink a story might mention why and then move on.
Something must at least be stimulating you, Wolfie; why else would you stay to defend the dominionists? Why do you think it is fair that one religion should represent a diverse nation of peoples with all different beliefs? Isn't that the issue you refuse to discuss? How come? Would you like America to be only one religion, one race, and one party?

Interesting, I've never heard this term before. Looking in Wikipedia (that's what Google always seems to go these days), it turns out that it refers to an ultra radical group that wants to institution Christian-Sharia-type laws. Seems though that people like to expand it so that it includes MANY more. Just because a religious person thinks A is wrong because of biblical teaching doesn't mean they want a completely religicized country... Differences of opinion will come regarless of religion's presence or absence. It will just come from other quarters.
Beyond that, I think there is no doubt that public schools in the US are liberal leaning. Certainly higher education. So, if you are not liberal-leaning you would tend to feel that the schools are not looking out for your interests. What is so horrific about this?

Radiofreeeuropa1 year, 5 months ago
I can't believe a single person would defend the dominionists but here they are. Educated people tend to be more "liberal" at least Rove has said so. Does that mean that math and science are "liberal"? no. Hopefully one learns some critical thinking in the process of their studies, critical thinking is the enemy of dominionists, not education per se.

Education has always presented biased information and tried to make young people think in certain ways. Subjects like history are always presented with the bias of the author, and in english class I was given novels which at times presented opinions of the political system at the time. Even in science I was taught evolution which like now was not 100 percent complete. Am I afraid of the religious right, or am I only concerened, At this point I'm only concerned, if the government changes in your country in the next election and things remain the same or get worse I will become afraid.

What's worse, people? Those who think you will go to hell if you don't believe like them, or, those who are commanded to send you to hell, if you don't believe like them? Strangely, with the Liberal mind-set, it seems to be the former.

Wolfie, There are some bad public schools and there are some good public schools. There is not a perfect school in the USA. Public or not. The Public schools system was a good one when I was young. We had one teacher for the whole year up to the fifth year. We even had an hour for lunch. That one teacher gave out one on one thought relay and we had our physical ed playing base ball and such. My kids ended up with five teachers in their first year and very confused till I took them out because of teachers that really had no real college training, other kids that seem to misbehave and some of the teachers I caught lying. I put them back in their ninth year and their scores went Thur the roof on subjects I was expecting them to flunk they excelled in. the public system in the high school disappointed me in one thing, the subject material that should be mandatory has been cut short and most of the info I learned in my day you have to go to college to get. There's the trap.

This story is a rant of the first order. It ignores tha basic fact that Hitler was an atheist and was going to destroy the church after his final solution for the Jews.
You then have the Gall to compare Christians to Hitler. You are disgusting.
The educational system has been going downhill since the mid 60's when it was number 1. Christian complaints about it and what they wish to see are not the reason. You can't fix the system by throwing money at it. You have to fix what is wrong. But the liberal establishment controls it and you can't believe they might have messed it up.
You people give me a royal pain. Just rant and not propose solutions to one of our biggest problems.

Ranting? You're the only one I see ranting. Must have struck a cord to your fictionalized understanding of history.
How do you expalin the following quote?
"As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice."
Adolf Hitler

Fascism is too honest. Today's conservatives and liberals are more like communists, especially Stalin and Kim Il Sung. Liberals ARE die-hard communist puppets, and conservativism has been co-opted by ex-Trotskyite neoconservatives.
