This article is not an attack on religion or Christianity. It is, however, specifically directed at those who conspire to abolish pluralism in America, and those who seek to destroy the public education.
"Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism has ever invented for its own destruction."
Have you read similar comments? Afer reviewing the videos and brief commentary submitted in this article, what do you think? Who is the author of the quote above? Has fascism taken hold in our government?

Fascists are socialists that don't believe that there will ever be a socialist 'utopia', like what communists believe. Instead, fascists believe that socialism is only a tool to get money, power and sex. Consequently, communists lie to get into power and then gloat when they have their tyranny, whereas fascists lie to get into power and then keep lying just in case the general public gets the idea that socialism isn't all about free medical care and handouts to the 'poor' (most of which wind up being the product of socialism when it's all said and done). Public schools were originally concocted at the end of the 1800s as a gimmick to break the power and influence of the church sunday schools that non-rich people relied on to get an education, and the curriculum was quickly revised to make kids dumb enough to accept socialism. Too bad, didn't work, lefties don't want to accept it and let religious types scrap the cr*p, in spite of how lousy public schools are these days. Fun, huh?

oh, and btw, there are fascists in power (not necessarily in total control), simply because vote-buying isn't completely illegal and feudalism isn't as fun as socialism for the bums in power - hookers take cash from taxes, after all. we have a bunch of feudalists at the top of many large corporations, and then there's the guys that want to wreak the entire country just to make slavery a legal reality all over again (slave labor is profitable, and the hot babes are defenseless when a slavemaster gets his rocks on). it's just so much fun to be alive when all these types of scum are vying for power and wreaking things for the rest of us that dislike barbarism - even the pretty barbarism that nationalized medical care winds up turning into as soon as the cash starts to run out. wake me up when the rest of you are willing to vote for someone who actually has the ability to fix things, instead of a big mouth and no clue like obama, hillary, huckabee, etc. career pols have fat paychecks...

Interesting rant. So Hitler was all out to help the poor but something went wrong along the way? And the top 10 countries in the world for health care have single payer systems, but our busted health care system is really far superior because it's run for profit.

This article is a hoot.
It is a laugh because under Hitler's rule home schooling was made illegal in Germany and to this day it is still illegal there. So, much for the article claiming that true Christians and Hitler have anything in common, much less a desire to destroy public education.
I home schooled both of my daughters, yet I do not want to see public school done away with. I would like to not be forced to pay for them. And I would like for public school teachers to not think that people give birth to give them a job. I would also like for our government to leave home schoolers alone in all U.S. states.

Finding one point where current Christian Nation builders differ from Hitler is hardly cover for all the points where their rhetoric matches. To insist so is to either be deliberately dense or honestly so.
Regarding funding, nobody likes taxes. But cutting out public funding of education or making it optional would mean the end of public education. It would mean that for lots of families, where both parents must work, the children would go completely without education. Your program would soon have America back in the dark ages.

The article is about schooling, claiming that Hitler wanted to end public schooling, when it was home schooling that he ended in Germany. Hence, my post was right on the mark.
As for taxing me to pay for schools that my children did not use, it is wrong. Bottom line, let those who use public schools, PAY for public schools.

sometimes, I wonder why I even bother...
Hitler wasn't out to help the poor, just to pay lip service to the concept while grabbing power and using socialism (and all it's fine excuses and intentions) to make even more people - especially out of his political opponents. The 'top' countries in the world for health care are not only lying about how good they are, they're also in a downward spiral of increasing costs (because of socialism-created economic imbalances) and a decreasing labor pool (because the imbalances are caused by socialism-inspired pay cuts for medical personnel, so nobody wants to be a doctor once the word gets out that a medical degree is nothing more than a vow of poverty like a Franciscan monk). As for the US medical system, guess what the 'solution' is for the 'broken' medical system that politicians in D.C. have worked so hard to break? You guessed it - socialism, Hillary Clinton style (among others). You can wake up from your free-lunch fantasies now, ET.

Sorry JC, but the study in reference about the top countries in health care doesn't isn't an opinion poll. It's based on statistics like life expectancy, infant mortality, deaths from preventable disease, etc. And the US, which is in its own dwindling spiral of health care costs, is #37 just behind Costs Rica. Looks like the Enron model has at least as many faults in it as your hated socialism model does.

Anyone who thinks that a culture coming together with the best of intentions and the worst of methods to act on those intentions is too dim to figure out that socialism (a pretense of helping one and all with taxes and government restraints, with the inescapable reality of politicians buying votes from the ever-increasing number of 'poor' people with everyone else's tax money) is a recipe for starvation of both one's own country/culture and all involved trading partners. Remember that socialism is really just a repackaging of old-Europe oppression techiques, and that the French Revolution never really taught the French people exactly how their rulers had gotten away with treating them so hideously for so long, and that socialism is also just a minor upgrade to the economic oppression techniques in Islam - but that last one's a topic for another thread, I guess. In answer to your question, fascism is alive and well in the U.S. and it has always been wrapped in a flag and carrying a Bible.
We have a local fascist who writes letters to our local podunk paper, which protects her because it is owned by fascists of a particularly fundamentalist religious flavor. One week this woman plagiarizes from the Defense Department web site to prove that the surge is working. The next week she complains about how public education is eroding our "family values." These people are all alike, such hypocrites!
When I write to the paper and prove the woman plagiarizes, my letter is sent back to me by the editor, who accuses me of slander.

"Why do you keep claiming this." Your lack of integrity is astonishing. Most everyone here knows that when I have submitted stories about Fundamentalists and dominionists, you are among that small clan that have repeatedly accused me of bashing Christians, to put the focus off the issues that you are incapable of defending ethically.
For those who are not familiar with my position, I add that disclaimer out of respect for my Christian friends who do not want to be associated with people like crghss, who despise all of us who denounce those fundamentalists and dominionists who attack pluralism and theaten our constitutional freedom.

Midleft: "the 100% right wing owned media in this country..."
I almost lost my eye teeth when I saw this statement. The leftist domination of the news media, has been long standing.
Only a few, such as Cal Thomas, existed until more recently & then they were castigated by the mainstream.
Where do people come up with such drivel? And nobody seems to pick up on this nonsense.

Spade & Scriblerus:
The use of the word "fascist" has obviously changed in more recent years. Benito Mussolini is credited to establishing Italian fascism, generally the state having complete authoritarian control. FDR defined it at that time: "Fascism - ownership of government by an individual, by a group or by any other controlling power." Ownership, not a temporary term of office.
Yet, after WW2, the word "fascism" has gradually become almost entirely meaningless & hopelessly vague. George Orwell supported this observation of the decline of the word: "Today it is little more than a pejorative epithet used by supporters of various political views to attempt to discredit their opponents." The word "bully" may be more descriptive of the accusative meaning it's usage fosters.
Very popular tactics in ad hominem attacks. Under current usage, "It Takes a City" could be considered fascist. -Rev. S

"who despise liberals and other groups."
This is a lie. What group have I ever disparaged? When have I attacked liberals the you attack religion? I challenge YOU and your response is always the same. You won't be honest, you don't defend your position. You just pat yourself on the back and say how wonderful you are. Weak, from a weak person who post links to his ridiculous writings and proclaims himself as a wondrous person trying to save humanity from it's self. Makes me want to puke. Your a phony and a liar.

Until the fascists gained complete control in Germany, Italy and Spain, there were opposition newspapers and elections.
Just because something doesn't have dictatorial control yet, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
Further, a person can dislike one segment of a particular group (do YOU like, respect or defend the "Rev" Fred Phelps?) without attacking the group entire.

BK: This should be exactly true, yet SC lumps all together as though they are in complete unanimity.
The attacks on someone like Dr. D. James Kennedy are out of hatred towards his stand against immorality & his desire to see the nation get back to right thinking.
As you indicate, there is absolutely no comparison of him to someone like the unscrupulous & maniacal Fred Phelps. -Rev. S

" The establishment of a Christian nation is the primary goal of American Dominionists. "
That's not what Dominionists believe. They believe they are to have dominion over the earth. It may be the primary goal of extremist "evangelicals," but not necc. Dominionists.
Here's one of the best theological papers/arguments *against* dominionism that I've read:

Agreed. But as with all radical empire builders, they first take control of their own community and their own territories, dominate the government, the media, and the education of the children, before branching out to the world.
Personally, at this point in time, I'm more concerned in stopping them here. Your technical point is well documented.

LOL my "meaningless page of gibberish" attracted you.
In that respect we are quite different; when I find meaningless gibberish I go elsewhere.
Fortunately my stories only attract a few like you; but I appreciate your input as you are a good example for us all.
