Christian Dominionists Attack Public Ed »

Posted by: Spadecaller 2 years ago

The establishment of a Christian nation is the primary goal of American Dominionists. Their first battle has been launched; to indoctrinate all American children by eliminating the public schools. Does fascism tolerate diversity in public education?

This article is not an attack on religion or Christianity. It is, however, specifically directed at those who conspire to abolish pluralism in America, and those who seek to destroy the public education.

"Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism has ever invented for its own destruction."

Have you read similar comments? Afer reviewing the videos and brief commentary submitted in this article, what do you think? Who is the author of the quote above? Has fascism taken hold in our government?

Faith, creed, colour, political affiliation, it matters not. Mankind has it's full share of bigots & close minded people, whose only "vision" of the world, is the CORRECT one, OR ELSE......

I believe they are starting something that will never happen. What a waste of time!!

If you don't want your children going to a public school take them out and do your own thing but leave everyone else alone. I'm so sick of people trying to make others believe as they do. Supposedly everyone in this country can do as he/she wants and that means believeing however you choose to believe.

"Children are the prize to the winners in the next great civil war" James Dobson

I'll bet people will read that and just laugh at the absurdity. They'll figure Dobson is a kook, & there's no problem here. They won't be more wrong. There is a very serious problem here. But for the life of me, I don't know how to get through to people that our country is falling apart from the inside, & its been so insidious that you'd almost need to go back to school to learn what has happened.

There are two forces in bed together here. The money people, and religious extremists. The extremists will give them a government of 'yes men', in return for social power. And the prize for both groups, is the world. Religious extremists don't plan on stopping with the U.S., and corporatists certainly don't plan on that.

dandt: thanks for your comments. Regarding your statment:

"I believe they are starting something that will never happen. What a waste of time!!"

I wish I was as confident about that as you. Assuming they are not a threat is likely more dangerous than anything. That is how so many of them have influenced candidates and legislation. That is how the Nazis took over Germany; everyone "assumed" that they were just a bunch of crackpots that would fade away.

Perhaps you are unaware of HR Res 888, the new pending legislation...

We better start trying to make our country safe for diversity, because it is under attack.

Education dissipates ignorance. Of course the ignorant are against it. The elitists who use them sure don't want them educated. Rove himself said he felt most people could be persuaded to vote for his candidates unless they had too much education. As ludicrous as this position is, the reasons are obvious.

Our country will go back to having a lot more uneducated people if every body had to pay for schooling. That would indeed create more stupidity than what we already have out in the public. Of course as long as there is the inheritance tax the churches and faith base charities are kept up well with donations for tax deductions, instead of an heir taking and using the money to open up a business that could help put people to work. Of course, the corporations and the churches need these people poor to have these deductions along with the lawyers and banks that bring them about.

How interesting that Wolfie comes and sinks a story, and then posts his comments. Normal people who sink a story might mention why and then move on.

Something must at least be stimulating you, Wolfie; why else would you stay to defend the dominionists? Why do you think it is fair that one religion should represent a diverse nation of peoples with all different beliefs? Isn't that the issue you refuse to discuss? How come? Would you like America to be only one religion, one race, and one party?

Interesting, I've never heard this term before. Looking in Wikipedia (that's what Google always seems to go these days), it turns out that it refers to an ultra radical group that wants to institution Christian-Sharia-type laws. Seems though that people like to expand it so that it includes MANY more. Just because a religious person thinks A is wrong because of biblical teaching doesn't mean they want a completely religicized country... Differences of opinion will come regarless of religion's presence or absence. It will just come from other quarters.

Beyond that, I think there is no doubt that public schools in the US are liberal leaning. Certainly higher education. So, if you are not liberal-leaning you would tend to feel that the schools are not looking out for your interests. What is so horrific about this?

Education has always presented biased information and tried to make young people think in certain ways. Subjects like history are always presented with the bias of the author, and in english class I was given novels which at times presented opinions of the political system at the time. Even in science I was taught evolution which like now was not 100 percent complete. Am I afraid of the religious right, or am I only concerened, At this point I'm only concerned, if the government changes in your country in the next election and things remain the same or get worse I will become afraid.

What's worse, people? Those who think you will go to hell if you don't believe like them, or, those who are commanded to send you to hell, if you don't believe like them? Strangely, with the Liberal mind-set, it seems to be the former.

Wolfie, There are some bad public schools and there are some good public schools. There is not a perfect school in the USA. Public or not. The Public schools system was a good one when I was young. We had one teacher for the whole year up to the fifth year. We even had an hour for lunch. That one teacher gave out one on one thought relay and we had our physical ed playing base ball and such. My kids ended up with five teachers in their first year and very confused till I took them out because of teachers that really had no real college training, other kids that seem to misbehave and some of the teachers I caught lying. I put them back in their ninth year and their scores went Thur the roof on subjects I was expecting them to flunk they excelled in. the public system in the high school disappointed me in one thing, the subject material that should be mandatory has been cut short and most of the info I learned in my day you have to go to college to get. There's the trap.

This story is a rant of the first order. It ignores tha basic fact that Hitler was an atheist and was going to destroy the church after his final solution for the Jews.

You then have the Gall to compare Christians to Hitler. You are disgusting.

The educational system has been going downhill since the mid 60's when it was number 1. Christian complaints about it and what they wish to see are not the reason. You can't fix the system by throwing money at it. You have to fix what is wrong. But the liberal establishment controls it and you can't believe they might have messed it up.

You people give me a royal pain. Just rant and not propose solutions to one of our biggest problems.

Of course fascism has arrived in America. We know them today as liberals, or in my words, nazi liberals. The liberals are resorting to nazi tactics to try and push their values on us and are too stupid and arrogant to see the problem w/this.
