MacBook Air Battery Replacement Plan Detailed »

Here we go again. As if the "battery replacement plan" for the iPhone wasn't bad enough, there's one for the MacBook Air? As I indicated in my initial post, the battery on the MacBook Air is not user-replaceable. What do you do when it dies? Take a guess. Yep, just like the iPhone, you send it back to Apple.

OK, it was bad enough with the iPhone, but a laptop without a swappable battery?

Apple got away with the iPhone, so I think they think they can also get away with this one. No optical drives too. They have something called remote CD and an external accessory for $99. Still the former requires another computer with an optical drive while the latter removes the whole concept of portability. Design is cool though. Again its all about the design and the lighted apple logo at the back.

I think the battery from http://www.batteryfast.com whcih I purchase last time is ok. If you need a replacement you think of it.
