The US Library of Congress has put over 3100 photos on Flickr. The pictures span the 20th century, cover multiple subjects, and all have comprehensive descriptions. Best of all, there are no copyright restrictions on any of the photos.

      I am going to have to go back to this. Seriously though, 3,115 pics is a lot to go through. But man there are some really fascinating pics in this.
