When it comes to the general election, there'll be a choice between a Democrat and a Republican. As long as the Republicans are dominated or influenced by their conservative wing I will vote Democratic. Heck, even moderates like Romney and Giuliani feel the need to suck up to the right. As long as that is happening there's no way I vote for a Republican.
Also, considering the sliming skills of the swift boaters and the likes of
Karl Rove, Ken Mehlman, Lee Attwater, Ralph Reed, Tom DeLay, the whole Bush clan, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O' Reilly, etc...
As far as Obama is concerned. He better learn to toughen up. If he thinks the Right Wingers will cut him some slack because he is the candidate of hope he's in for a rude awakening. There are a lot of questions about him I'd like answered before sending him out to play in the big game.

  I think you can trust Hill and Bill to ask em. If those two camps get into such a slimefest that they destroy one another, Edwards may just emerge the beneficiary of the fight.
  Obama's got to get back on his message of hope and a grand coalition and let his surogates deal with the Clinton lie factory.
