Jan. 22, 2008, 4:56 p.m.Whoa, what happened? If it wasn't a crime then he committed suicide or OD'd when he has a 2 year old daughter? How sad.

Jan. 22, 2008, 5:50 p.m.Heath wasn't one I don't think anyone considered for an early death. I don't think he was into any drug scene. He was always recognized as an outstanding guy with no ego; that allowed him to play all sorts of different roles.
Kind of crazy news hearing this.

The buzz is he battled a substance abuse problem that he kept very well hidden, and he had been clean for awhile now.
His poor little person!

Peleus
Jan. 22, 2008, 8:14 p.m.I am shocked, sure, but also angry. This isn't a plane crash or heart attack. He willfully made the choice to get involved in drugs (or if it's a suicide, he chose that action.) I feel bad for his family.
It's like when someone drinks and drives, and gets killed by driving into a tree. It isn't a tragedy; it's the expected results from utterly stupid behavior, and I am only relieved that the person didn't kill other drivers on the road. We had a case in my home state just recently -- a teenager driving drunk got killed. He was 17. He had already been involved in a drinking and driving accident once. And yet his parents bought him a muscle car. I blame him and them.
I look forward to seeing The Dark Knight, but it appears (given the available evidence) that he made some very stupid choices and brought about a not-so-surprising result. I am shocked and angry.

Jan. 22, 2008, 9:18 p.m.He slept with Mary-Kate Olsen and committed suicide after she told him he'd never be able to sleep with her again? How Bizzare is that.
Delightful actor.
