And very frightening. It would appear that the people in highly urbanized areas would be most at risk. Is there any study of senility in rural areas vs. urban areas?

Amazing1 my mother grew up in an urban environment. She was born in 1914 and spent her whole life in the city, she died in 2002 from Alzheimers. My father was born the same year in Jugoslavia in a very rural environment and came here in during the WWII. He is now 94 and is in good physical shape although he is showing a decline in his mental capabilities.

Their diets were different, she grew up eating a typical American meat and potatoe diet, and my father grew up eating produce from their garden, home made bread (cut with sawdust to make the flour go farther), and some fish, and home made wine.

I think there are a lot factors involved in Alzheimers and other forms of dimentia with lead just being one of them.
