I admire Obama for saying that! I wonder if she feels the same way!

  It does seem to be proceeding in a civil manner. Both candidates have dropped much of the rancor of previous debates. However, the evening is not over yet.

    With any luck it will be David, another statement FTA that i admired from Obama:
    "When we started off, we had eight candidates on this stage. We now are down to two after 17 debates," Obama said. "And, you know, it is a testimony to the Democratic Party and it is a testimony to this country that we have the opportunity to make history, because I think one of us two will end up being the next president of the United States of America."

      my list of huge differences between obama/hillary
      obama had the judgement to know iraq was huge mistake
      obama believes the american peoples will make the right choices if the govt gives them viable options...hillary wants to copy romney in mandating(forcing) peops to buy healthcare weather they can afford it or not...her whole attitude seems to be she knows best
      obama wants to take the lobbyist money and influence out of politics(or at least limit it)...hillary owes lobbyists huge favors as they have financed her campaign
      obama believes and has passed legislation in illinois and at the national level on ethics reform
      obama believes in open,honest govt...hillarys earlier bid for healthcare failed in part because she is so secretive
      hillary wants the fda to regulate tobacco,which will drive cigs into a black market economy and make another 20% of americans criminals..again that mother knows best attitude

  I think she does, and it's nice to see that they are moving away from the dirty politics. Ron Brown did this when he was party leader and help Bill win...Let's hope they stand by each other and which ever one get's the nomination the other should do whatever it takes to help them win!

      well they are the better candidates for the job. In my opinion they are the top two and it being so the loser should help the winner!
      This to me is another Republican attempt to ask the DEMS to show them what they refused to show the DEMS Reasoning. Truth of the matter there isn't another candidate out there that can do a better job in my eyes than Hill Or Obama.
      So i reiterate, they loser of Nomination should do what ever it takes to the victor win... Truth there isn't a good Republican in all of America or a deserving one anyway! They all had a hand in the decline of our nation to hell with them. I want my country bask! A lot of people voted for the war in Iraq on both sides who would take back that vote today after finding out the truth! Bush lied!

        You know what baddad, it's usually the ones that don't vote who bitch the loudest! I personally know many people like that, and their excuses are all the same. "My vote doesn't count anyway". It gives so much leverage to sorry administrations like this.

        My parents did the same thing the day i turned 18 they took me to get registered to vote. I have lived in several places since then, and one of the first things i did everywhere i lived was register to vote. I also stress the importance to my son, and i think he's finally getting it.

        I didn't mean to make you angry. So you didn't vote for Bush. I take it back. It really doesn't matter. The essence of my original criticism stands. Not because I've never seen you post one negative thing about anyone on the right (which I haven't). It's that you wear your anti-left bias like a badge of honor and yet you troll these boards as if you're some learned, even-handed authority on political theory.
        I'm just trying to understand how on earth you could have gotten it into your head that your opinion as to who is an idiot or how to choose a presidential candidate would carry any weight here whatsoever.
