I think you're reacting to another 'fear' campaign. Right now, who is going to attack us militarily? Who is worried that their big pile of pork might vanish?
Now that we have thought about that, being prepared is not a bad thing, but let's behave rationally and not start earmarking all that money we don't have and instead figure out how we can use what we do have effectively. That's where our leadership on both sides, but especially the Republican side lately, has failed us. We're too darn broke to respond.

    Good point.
    That is why I will not live in a city.
    It is true that initially there will be wide spread panic. Those that panic will probably perish. Panic will get you dead.
    Cooler heads will then take control.
