"it has a full time staff of "Scouts" (employees that are like reporters or thread monitors, a.k.a. Hall Monitors) that interact with the community. This is one of my favorite things about this site because it keeps it civil>"
That's a nice theory, but with the likes of Neo and Aidenag often harassing Alpha Gnosis and others who do not share their liberal leanings, all too often you find their liberal bias overtaking their alleged "objectivity" as "reporters" and spilling over into full-blown harassment and intolerance. More than one person has been booted from Propellor unjustly due to Neo's and other's underhanded ways.
I submit one "LuvMyPrez" as proof. Banned for improperly categorizing a mere two articles. TWO!! She often was harassed by Neo and his ilk, yet Neo is still a paid employee of Propellor. At least Aidenag no longer has that Obama pic for his avatar. When it comes to liberal bias, those two are at the top.

Thanks for the article EE. After a couple of years I'm getting the mechanics of this site down, at least until the next major changes. The dynamics still puzzle me, with groups and how the social aspect attempts to balance with story content, and the way this balance shifts in unpredictable ways.

I do see an itsy bitsy problem here, the faces are not made out of characters due to programing format.
Here are some:
;) :) :-) and always check out STONERS comments because he comes up with some clever ones.

Bronx Bomber also has a whole library of arcane symbols. I keep thinking I'll have to invite him to fly over for a couple of beers - I'm buying the beers BB! - to explain them. I don't believe they're Masonic, some could be Mayan [?!].

Also allow me as the first of the musketeers to show up here to thank you for honouring us with a guest appearance on the propellertalk site. [And you coud have got away with taking credit for the picture of the Queen - we'd all have been far too gentlemanly to tell :)]
I think your write-up is exactly the kind of intro that should/could? pop up on the screen right at the moment of first signing up for Propeller.

I also could not get the faces to display as the characters, it seems to be something peculiar to our computers though as I was the only one (out of 4 that had this peculiarity). May be some arcane setting in our browser. I just wanted to say how much I believe this piece is needed. It's a veritable "how to"
for new members, a fantastic introduction to propelling. And by the way, I want to welcome EE to the stable of propellertalk writers. We are all very proud to present this article and hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do!
EE soars!
