Propeller reports on last night's Grateful Dead benefit concert for Obama in San Francisco. It was the first time the group had played together in four years.

Wow! That is actually amazing. I really never expected to hear anything to come out of the Gratefull Dead after Jerry died. Good for them for finding a cause to bring the band back together. Though it will never be the same with out Jerry, the Dead is one of the most under-rated greatest rock and roll band of all time with the biggest following. I grew up listening to the Dead from my mother who died last year from complications from diabeties like Jerry Garcia. She actually was lucky enough to see the Dead for the first time on their last tour before Jerry's demise.
I maybe going hell in a handbasket, but atleast I'll be enjoying the ride.

Awesome. Wish I was there. I love the part about a stuffed JG doll on stage with them.

My favorite band! And my spouse's second favorite; she's crazy about The Dave Matthews Band, who also support Obama!
