Many officials involved are neocons who cooked the books to rush to war against Iraq and who continue to urge more wars in the Mid-East, most notably against Iran and Syria. Several of them are close allies of leading GOP presidential candidate John McCain.

Plame connected to State Department Treason
Politics â;; AN investigation into illicit sale of American nuclear secrets was compromised by a senior official in the State Department, who tipped off a foreign contact about a bogus CIA company used to investigate the sale of nuclear secrets.
