Hollywood writers to vote on contract »
Posted by: STONERS 1 year, 10 months agoTV producers say they expect writers to return to work as early as Wednesday now that the Writers Guild of America has moved to end its three-month-old strike. Membership meetings will be held Tuesday in New York and Los Angeles, said Patric Verrone, president of the guild's West Coast branch.

Feb. 13, 2008, 2:38 a.m.It was just on the news here last night that the strike has cost Los Angeles over $2 BILLION in lost revenue. The smaller businesses (catering, florists) were hit the hardest and a good deal have already gone completely out of business. It's a real shame and I'm glad to put this mess behind us.
