The true scale of climate change emissions from shipping is almost three times higher than previously believed, according to a leaked UN study seen by the Guardian.

    I'm surprised it is not more actually. A very detailed study of air pollution where i live(Puget sound/Seattle) showed that over 40% of our air pollution comes from the import/export of goods at our ports. And we are only the 4th largest port on the West Coast. Vancouver,SF and LA are probably even worse.
