I knew they were doomed from the moment I found out Disney was going with Blu-Ray.

Don't you know Disney controls the world?

It seems most of the big ones are going to Blu-Ray including Netflix.

I never waisted my money on this. Did happen to purchase a new television that just so happened to be HDTV Compatible but not an HDTV Television. I knew this was a bunch of hype and then also I always wait for such fads to become popular and prices to drop! The new Flat Screens I have no desire to purchase as they are too wide and appear to be more Letter Box than that I am use too though the pictures of a good one are fantastic! Ever notice a Flat Screen LCD Comp Screen has little life to it but the older TV Types are going strong? You could find one discarded on the side of the road and chances are it would still work! Little Value for so much $$$$ is what's happening these days!Been through 3 LCD's and will never touch another so long as I can find a good older type though I did appreciate the room the LCD left on my desk!LCD Televisions are just as short lived as are the LCD Computer Screens and as far as I'm concerned should sell for half of what their going for as a result!

I guess that this is a particular DVD format. Probably most players will work with multiple formats. If not, woe to those who guessed wrong.
