Feb. 19, 2008, 8:07 p.m.FTA:
The economy and trade were key issues in the state, according to interviews with Democratic primary voters as they left their polling places. Seven in 10 said international trade has resulted in lost jobs in Wisconsin. Fewer than one in five said trade has created more jobs than it has lost.
Independents cast about one-quarter of the ballots in the race between Obama and Clinton, and roughly 15 percent of the electorate were first-time voters, the survey said. Obama has run strongly among independents in earlier primaries, and among younger voters, as well.

Feb. 19, 2008, 9:14 p.m.I have till March to make my final decision, still on the fence.
I don't remember ever being this late in making up my mind on a candidate. Even years ago, when my little sister went over the top, for Nixon. She campaigned and talked about nothing else! All the while, I kept saying no, not Nixon!
Thank not2needy!

Feb. 19, 2008, 10:15 p.m.It is time you liberal Dem's understand there is only so many times we Indies who lean left can hold our noses and vote for the likes of Kerry before we give up in disgust and say no more. Well for me this is it. If you want to run another Kerry fine do it but do it without my support and don't count on my vote.

Feb. 20, 2008, 1:06 a.m.What ought to terrify John McCain and the RNC is that in the last few races, the Democratic turnout has been double that of the Republican. It's shaping up to be a total blowout of the Republicans on '08.
