The Texas Governor thinks that sexuality has no business in and among a group of high school teens with raging hormones. He wants to instill family values and claims tolerance of gay people. I suppose he could look Jesse Jackson or Barack Obama in the face and say, I have never met a black man I did not like. How insipid! His euphemistic attitude and condescending tone irritate worse than fingernails on a chalkboard. Teenagers are human, and sexuality is a defining part of what it means to be human. Some humans are gay, deal with it! Why should gay kids or adults be denied the opportunity to go out into the wilderness and camp with their peers? Just because they are gay? Governor Perry is peddling his right wing crap along with the Boy Scouts to show that gay people are not tolerated as he puts it, but really second-class citizens.

How about just leaving the Boy Scouts alone! There organization has functioned just fine for many years like it is. What is so hard about understanding they don't want gay scout leaders mixing with young impressionable boys. I do understand that this would be a target rich environment for the gay movement, and to deny them the opportunity to play with the minds of theses boys is defiantly making them mad.
