He could definitely use a few more good dogs on board though!
2 here! But they're not registered to vote - yet..
Maruska cocks an ear and scratches vigorously with her back leg when she hears Obama speaking.
And Urias [Uriah] completely ignores his food when we give him the "same old" - at least for a few hours till he gets desperate.
But when we call "something new, for a CHANGE"! he falls down the stairs to get to it..

Pets have always been accurate indicators of political outcomes too. Some friends of mine have birds that poop on pictures of Rice, Bush, & Cheney whenever they appear in the newspaper that line their cage. I'm telling you they aim. While my iguana has actively campaigned for Obama, my neighbor's dog is for McCain, of course he licks his ***** and howls at the moon. (the dog, not the neighbor, at least not regularly). A straw poll of neighborhood dogs does indicate they will likely vote republican, (It's not obvious if they really choose to, but Diebold turns all their votes to GOP candidates...) I guess you could say the McCain campaign has gone to the dogs already.

Funny since he doesn't do very well on animal welfare and wildlife issues. More uniformed supporters going against their own best interest........

2005-2006 Senator Obama supported the interests of the Fund for Animals 60 percent in 2005-2006.
2005-2006 Senator Obama supported the interests of the The Humane Society of the United States 60 percent in 2005-2006.
2005 Senator Obama supported the interests of the The Humane Society of the United States 20 percent in 2005.
Hers is to long to post but it is considerably better than his:

Hey Neo it's not me that says so. The Humane Society gives him failing grades. That is because of his voting record and his support for the issues concerning animal welfare groups. This story is in PETS so lets discuss his record on issues concerning pets and it stinks.

I can visualize Obama with a lion's mane and whiskers and his wife is kind of catty. However Hillary is a bit catty too and has that cat-like grin at times. I have heard that when Obama enters a room with cats and dogs they all hiss and bark/snarl at him and seem very nervous about his presence. Chihuahas like to nip at his heels before he kicks them aside.
